"shake it off marines, clear the crash sight go go g-..." >chief grenade jumps to the roof and disappears. next time sgt Johnson runs into chief is when he drops the tank off
I've always took issues with Hood always questioning Chief. Terence didn't get kidnapped at 6 and drilled into a killing machine, put through torturous pain and deploy into war before hitting 20. Then after getting his answer, he's like, "right...right, good call uhmmm go ahead I guess. I would've asked you to do that anyway, great minds think alike!! 😉👉👉".
One of my fondest memories, discovering how vast the rooftops were, grenade jumping off of my cousins head on split screen to get even higher. Simpler times
what this guy did is probably harder to pull off but honestly a casual speedrun of it especially the start is much easier IMO. I don't remember the last time I played on legendary without running over the rooftops to skip the sniper alley
@@hi-fistereo8987 With Pelican Bump it's extremely hard but going up the roofs and skipping the vehicles parts are easier, Pelican bump is just cancer lmao
Spare a thought for the marine who survived all those hits and made it to the end of the level with no shield! He's more of a tank than the Master Chief...
Honestly the hardest parts about this are the pelican jump and actually getting them to drop off a warthog at the end. The pelican jump is pretty much the hardest thing you can do in halo 2 I swear to god.
Isn’t it crazy how something we grew up on, took time and sometime forever to finish when we were kids..... Can be finished in almost under four minutes lmao It’s crazy as hell. Love the content man.
During the invasion of earth: 10% roof hopping 10% sword zipping 30% ghost riding 50% warthog riding Total kills: 3 elites, 1 jackal, 1 or 2 grunts Master chief still on our side? Hunt the truth.
"KEEP GOING, SLACKERS" is one of the best things to hear during a speedrun, second only to Polito in System Shock 2 going "Why do you go so slowly?" as the Hacker diagonal-dashes down hallways and teleports out after stuffing the bug juice into the air conditioner.
You could save yourself a second (maybe) by shooting the Marine with a headshot with the BR instead of waiting for him to hop off before getting in? Your awesome BTW
When I complete my Halo MCC 100% achievements, Halo 2 was pain in the ass, Laso and speedrun itself. After that, I always laughing at people who fought Dark Souls series is super hard.
@@creambeanbluejuice7522 I heavily disagree because of legendary alone. All of the souls series is trivialized by one or two builds or a specific weapon set up, and assuming you srent a nimrod you would know to dodge most the stuff
The rooftop and sword shenanigans are amazing in their own right but that warthog handling was choice. It was done so well that made the game look boring XD
Just a regular old run, here's a segmented of this level if you're interested ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_xW8AJ4L560.html not quite TAS tier but still cool
I have three questions, 1: how do i make the elite pull out the sword? 2: how do i sword fly consistently 3: how do i practice sword flying? Im trying to get the achievement where you have to beat the game on legendary in under three hours
1. just go up to white elites and they usually pull out their sword 2. YXR as fast as possible without pressing 2 buttons at the same time 3. Practice in the first big room in Quarantine Zone, there's a rocket in the middle which is the easiest to swordfly with
the part where he was driving past those vehicles with the turrets was so sus lmao. i’ve been in the exact same position with the same exact vehicle and i get torn to shreds by the turrets
David Cross is one of my favorite voice actors my favorite shows Aqua Teen Hunger Force after all! By the way Donna from that 70 show plays a Marine in the tunnels
