I finally tried Laura Geller products a few months ago. Love them. I also have rosacea and this makeup does not bother my skin. It evens out the many tones of my skin very nicely and gives me a really nice natural look. I don't have the setting powder, but will definitely try it!

This video couldn't have come at a better time for me! I haven't worn makeup for many, many years, and my husband gifted me the Laura Gellar Baked Balance and Brighten Foundation because he knew I wanted to start wearing makeup again. Well, things have changed so much compared to the past, and I'm totally lost! Our ages are similar, as well as our coloring, and you've really given me a jumping-off point for a natural, daily look. Hi Tina, I think I will order some of the Laura Gellar powder, I think the green in it will help my redness. I have rosacea as well. Have you ever tried a green based primer, I like those for getting rid of some of the redness, and, of course, I buy whatever is on sale because I’m cheap. I would agree if you are thinking about two foundation shades, choose the lighter, there is nothing worse than seeing someone with a chin line, if you know what I mean. Have a good day my friend. 😊

Hi Sheila! Yes, I have tried some green based primers, but the ones I tried seemed to make my makeup look cakey. If you end up getting the powder let me know what you think! I am really loving it! It's so dreary here today. Hopefully you've got some sunshine. Have a good one my beautiful friend!❤️

I do love Laura Geller's Baked Balance & Brighten and her blushes, (especially for travel) and I must try the Finishing powder as it looks really promising! I agree with you on her lippies. My lips don't do well with it in the winter. And hey, I completely understand the bed hog dog. That's my Finn! Almost every night. LOL Have a great week friend.

Hi Sallie! I know we love her foundation for travel! Did you know I am STILL amazed at your "magical" carry-on packing from your trip to last year!! Hi Michelle! What a difference going from light to fair has been for me! I will still use light maybe when I am using more self tanner, but honestly I am just loving the fair shade!

Hi Tina , as you know I have rosacea too, lately I’ve been so pink. 😥 I have the Elf so I will try it as a primer. I wish something would help take the redness down! !! Fair is what I have as well. I do find the Laura Geller to wear very well and not be drying . Great for travel. Thanks for the tip. If you find the best thing for bringing down redness I know you’ll let us know! Thank you

Hi Susan! I am sorry you have to deal with the redness as well. It's so strange! I have learned what my triggers are and can go along doing pretty good keeping the redness to a minimum, and then bam! My face starts burning and I haven't done anything differently?? It's frustrating when that happens. Do you have a red light device? Using red light is always a way to calm my skin down, but unfortunately I can't walk around with red light all the time! Lol! @@tinasbestmidlife Yes I have the Mito red light large panel and I use it with maysama every day. I am simplifying my routine. I’m thinking my agency tretinoin may be too strong and niacinimide is a vasodialator. I may ask them to back down on my .tretinoin or maybe be take the niacinamide out of my prescription. Your lucky you can tolerate it so well,

I use the Laura Geller Balance & Brighten powder and like it, but need to get a shade darker. I might try out the ELF Halo Glow to wear under it. Need to try out more of LG’s products. Is your dog’s name Louie ? Our dog is also Louie, and someone else I follow on YT, has a dog named Louie. 😃😃

Hi sweet Tina and Louie! Tina, when I used the Balance N Brighten, I too started out by using Light, but quickly switched to Fair. I was much happier with it. The face palettes look so nice. And the eyeshadow palette is so nice and natural looking. I've been loving a one and done shadow lately. The powder looks lovely. If the liquid lipstick is too dry, try topping it withva sheer gloss. Ah, you just said the same. You look stunning! Have a wonderful night. ❤❤🩷🫂

Hi Tina, You look wonderful with the Laura Geller makeup. I like her makeup and I need to try the setting powder. Her bullet lipsticks are very creamy.Too bad that the liquid lipstick is drying because the color is awesome. Maybe you have tried it already, Revolution has a nice under eyye corrector and it' easy to pick up at Target. Happy Easter to you and your family and happing napping to your adorable fur baby.

I tried the Laura Geller powder foundation a few months ago. It looked to dry on my skin. I might try it again using the Elf product you use. Thx for the tip! You’re going to laugh but I have rosacea too! Lol We’re so much alike!

17:24 thank you for doing this video. I love a natural look too. And, you did that perfectly!! I have one question tho, do you shave your face ? I’m 61, and I’m so scared to shave my face!! But, I’m beginning to see more and more hair. I ordered a shaver but I’m so scared to use it. Any advice? Thank you

Thank you Lori! I do "shave" my face, but sometimes I am not the best about doing it regularly. I have used the razors I think you are talking about and it's not as bad as you might think. Although I do have a harder time using them on my upper lip as compared to my cheeks. I also use the Finishing Touch battery operated shaver and I honestly use that more often than the razors because it is just easier for me. I hope this helps!

I bought two of these,Fair and Light,and they both are VERY dark,even the Fair looks orange on me.I read other reviews on these,and i read other say the same.The best i could use the Fair for now,is for a rouge.Disappointing.

Oh that is disappointing! Honestly after wearing the light shade for years, I can see how it is definitely more "bronzy" on me. The Fair just disappears into my skin. I don't even know if they make something lighter than Fair??
