@pavanarora3538 Are you sure? It’s a *master’s* degree, with an apostrophe because it’s possessive, not plural. In addition to that, you can’t be a master’s; you have one. The sentence should read as follows: I am a Master of English. Alternatively, you could say the following: I have a master’s degree in English. I’m not trying to be a jerk. I’m confused/concerned that you say you have an advanced degree in English, yet write like that. Either you have been ripped off by a shady institution, or you’re fibbing. I hope it’s the latter. I’d hate for you to have put in all the time and effort that goes into a master’s, and then be left without even the fundamentals of your degree.

I’m am NOT a doctor I do have a pharmacy background You could say I’m a 25 yr board certified researcher w yrs of gut problems and visiting all kinds of doctors, dermatologists included. I love all doctors and all have helped me. When I comes to rosacea the problem isn’t what’s being put on the skin topically it’s an internal issue likely w the gut. No dermatologist could help my psoriasis breakouts stop or be prevented, however when my gut was focused on and helped I NEVER got another flare of it - that was 25 yrs ago. Rosacea, eczema, psoriasis are all gut/immune problems. Topicals sooth temporarily at best Hope this helps and your mom gets the care she needs

About a third of the World's Population struggle with eating Dairy; & about twenty something percent get awful & often painful skin conditions; the skin is Our largest organ - & if there's something wrong; it tends to show up on yr skin usually Tell your Kum also to take a (chelating) Vit B12 tablet - the kind that dissolve under the tongue! damn i have to comment bcs i used those 2! except it was the NR cleanser and not the emulsion 👀 just want to say this NR variant at least the cleanser and moisturizer work good on dry, sensitive skin for anyone wondering though it could use more of moisture but overall it was a nice experience no breakout, or skin tight feeling after washing 4/5 cosrx snail mucin worked like a charm for me, literally improved my skin texture dramatically making it looks much better and healthier, solid 5/5! probably bcs i have dry skin, pretty gentle for sensitive skin as well (again from my personal experience), i suggest trying the travel size first 30ml to see if it works for you

This honestly makes me feel a lot better as someone with oily skin but often not haven taken care of my skin or moisturised at all because of life difficulties. This makes me wonder as well that having oily skin can be a reason of looking younger? I am 40 and have not moisturised for years, been street homeless and suffered terrible abuse and stress and stress is aging as well. I do not understand why I still get asked if I am in my 20s. I feel I have aged but other people still seem to think I look young for some reason, so maybe the oily skin?

It depends on your skin so if it's doing you good then its fine. I do moisturising 2x a day because i just started my skincare at the age of 29. Morning gentle light moisturizer while night time i do triple: 2x lights ( since i don't use night cream or 1 is classified as night cream idk lol) and then top my dry areas like cheeks with vaseline. Now i can feel my skin moist and fresh than before. I even live in a tropical humid country with combinations normal skin. Though it depends on what i use that day and how my skin feels, i reduce the moisturization or vaseline. Still experimenting with what works after 2months.

The best way to get moisture also isn't hyaluronic acid or glycerin or anything else - it's from drinking enough water. You heal or harm your skin from the inside out, not the outside in. Drink water. Yes, wear sun screen and cleanse and moisturize. But also eat well and drink water. Exercise. Don't get sunburns.

To be honest, more hydration really helped my skin, so I think when people are telling people hydration is key, it's because before we weren't hydrating our skin (at least here in the west, I know there's a decent amount of hydration ij Korean skinncare for example). In the west were mostly told cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise, but most of the moisturisers here are more oily than hydrating, so if you out it on skin that is dry bevause it's lacking hydration, its just sealing in the dryness and will over produce oil to compensate for you washing the natural oils off to replace it with another oily cream which doesn't moisturise it as well as your natural oils, and the excess natural oils can like to sit in your pores and for me, caused too many excess skin cells that need to washed or exfoliated off every day, and if I didn't I'd get spots. Whereas hydrating steps provide the hydration so the skin isn't dry after cleansing, and you lock it in with a moisturiser that has that oil moisturising elements in it to stop the water lesving the skin. It's really worked wonders for me. But yeah no need for skin to be/look wet constantly from excess hydrating products since at a certain point they won't absorb anyway and are more likely to rub off or the water evaporate. But definitely don't forget a hydrating step if your skin could benefit from it.

First of all, you’re funny 😂 and second, I agree. I use a little bit of moisturizer at night when I feel it needs it. I always get compliments on my skin so shes right.

So real, this summer I made the mistake of maintaining the same skincare as in winter and I never had so many pimples until I reduced the number of products I used.😅

Thank you! So many cosmetic RU-vidrs are about hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! My late-50s skin would be a greasy mess if I moisturized that much. A light moisturizer for oily skin works for me.

As far as wound care goes, this is also the case, which I find so fascinating. Obviously, we all know that wounds to the skin heal better when you keep them moist, and that's true, but too much moisture can also cause damage to healing tissue, a problem called wound maceration. It's all about balance. :°D

I think I just realised the reason for the mysterious and till death tell us part itchy rashes on my face this summer. My father is a board certified doctor, practitioner of general medicine and he warned me about the overuse of moisturisers. I however, couldn't figure out where to stop. But "the deal is in the detail" and here's the story: I probably suffered from some dehydration earlier this Summer, followed by me spending a lot of time, sometimes even about fifteen hours a day in a cold air conditioned room to prevent as much water loss from my body as possible. Eventually I recovered from the severe weakness but was left with a pair of sunken eyes, lips so dry that some parts looked white and breaking, skin dry and itchy, half open eyelids that stayed like that for days and dark circles that reminded me of '101 Dalmatians'. It was at this moment that I began bathing in honey, glycerin and something called Boroline we get here. I took so much care of myself that things got back to normal and then, even better. I almost achieved the glass skin if not for an allergy that suddenly led to sorta apple-shaped dark patch on my cheek and itching that spread from one cheek to the other and to the chin and neck that increased with every passing hour. Early in the morning I finally got out of bed and thoroughly washed my face with a mild face wash which eased the discomfort but only for a short while. I learnt on the internet that a heavy moisturiser helps calm irritation from an allergy, so I put the one I knew and used before. It claims that it provides nourishment too. And it did work. I felt better than ever. Now I use moisturisers sparingly. I let go when my skin feels good and looks shiny.

I also read an article from this 90 yr old woman who looks 50. She said if you use moisturizer, it blocks your skin's ability to create it's own moisture. So she only uses a serum.

Yes! That’s why we have to stop just blindly following everything. It’s always been this way, but worse now because of exposure, etc. People fail to recognize and appreciate that everyone’s skin is different. Too much dryness is bad, just as is too much hydration!

Pretty sure that's her winter skincare routine when the air gets really dry and sucks the moisture out of the skin. She's referring to all the hydrating ingredients that are present in like multiple steps of the skincare routine (just look at hyaluronic acid for instance , it's like in everything these days - even the guys at doctorly are not fan of hyaluronic being incorporated in practically every step of the skincare routine)

I noticed when I used to do that "7 layers" bs 😂 I had milia type spots all over my face, plus I was DRYER. So now, I do hydrating serums on damp skin from being freshly washed, and maybe 1 layer of extra water sprayed on before moisturiser .

I have the type of skin commonly named greasy dehydrated skin, so I am bond to a very subtle and fragile equilibrium between hydrating but not increasing grease production...

So many products that protect my skin from the hot desert air where I live also trap sweat against my skin in the summer.. and yeah. The fungus hydration issue is real. It's such a battle to keep my skin from breaking out with malassezia while also trying to keep my skin from drying out.. 😭
