Over the Loops and through the Tunnels to Asheville Yard we go! 

A quick chase of the NS P87 local from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains at Marion and Old Fort, to the Summit just past Swannanoa Gap, having traversed the famed Southern Loops and emerging from the 1832 foot tunnel at the top.
P87 operates as a turn from the Bridgewater Chip Plant, taking loads west to Asheville to drop for the Blue Ridge Southern ( • The Train that Makes Y... ) for the Canton Mill. They then head back east with empties and repeat.
