Worry, anxiety and depression is a current day growing epidemic. Two out of five Americans say they worry every day.
A little bit of worry is no problem at all. In 2017, scientists found that worries can motivate people to protect themselves and prevent problems - if that worrying is occurring at a healthy level. But excessive worrying can be harmful to a person’s physical and mental well-being. It’s also one of the hallmarks of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), which affects about 6.8 million American adults.
Worry habit can suck the joy out of the ‘here and now’ to prevent an unrealistic ‘then and there. People who worry about their older self deprive their younger self with the joys of the present moment.
This inspirational documentary film delves deeper into the psychological aspects of worrying and helps you with tactics and tools to overcome the worry habit that have gotten out of your control. The film arms you with insightful tips to silence your noisy mind and empower you with life strategies to cope up with overthinking habit.
'Overcome your worry habit' is written and presented by Paul Robinson, a notable author, coach and reputed keynote speaker who has a track record of helping thousands of people to lead a more fulfilling life. The film features the wisdom of an array of authors, thinkers, psychologist, life coaches, and mental health professionals like:
Susan Fletcher
Brendon Burchard
Emma McAdam
Douglas Bloch
Brian Tracy
Dr. Gary Dannie
Julia Christina
Erick Kand
Amanda Patrick

Thanks for helping all of us worriers. I asked God for a one-liner to help me overcome anxiety and he said, "Be a warrior, not a worrier." Another time I asked a similar question and he gave me Isaiah 35:4 NKJV - Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”

Great information and very motivating. One more solution. Reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts-anxiety. For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. Slowly the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Day or night, when taking a walk, when reading, on the phone, before sleep etc sit or lie down and observe your breath. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes Shyaaam Sir. -Senior Counsellor.

Love you all. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation present your requests to God by prayer with thanksgiving. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding shall guard your minds and hearts in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

We feel our feelings, think our thoughts, see our sights and worry about our worries, instead of just observing and letting it happen.

Thoughtful... thanks. "And this is clear: a power above and beyond the powers of nature must needs be brought to bear, to change this black darkness into light, and these hatreds and resentments, grudges and spites, these endless wrangles and wars, into fellowship and love amongst all the peoples of the earth. This power is none other than the breathings of the Holy Spirit and the mighty inflow of the Word of God." ~ Abdu’l-Baha, Baha'i Faith

One day, almost 2 years ago I looked at my female colleague like we look at anybody. I felt that that day her skin was beautifully thicker. After that day I started thinking that why did I looked at her especially when that day her skin was nicely, beautifully thicker. That thought has stuck in my mind and after that I started having anxiety. The thought is still there in my mind all the time and my anxiety disorder has become severe and unbearable.

Here’s the thing, most people care more if you brag and try to hide your fuck ups then they do when you fuck up so it doesn’t matter. “Oh well I don’t wanna look like a douchebag in front of people” well then don’t be a douchebag be confident and don’t give a fuck
