Jayne has terminal cancer, and one of her final wishes is to have her husband Martin treated for his fear of condiments. Martin's fear causes a real problem at home, and Jayne is concerned that when she's not there anymore, the problem will affect their children.
Martin cannot stand the sight of ketchup, or pickles and sauces, and as the children love them, it's a real problem at the dinner table. Martin explained that Jayne has traditional values and likes the family to sit down at mealtimes and talk about their day. She wants to know that when she's no longer here, that that will continue, rather than Martin trying to stay away from the table because the condiments are there.
