Today is the day I admit and confess I need friends, no longer living scared and saying I dont need friends! haha #freedom.

i found a real friend in my church.. shes the one who invited me there.. now i was baptized she played guitar, i sing.. we get along together.. my old friends leave me because im attending Christian works now and not around with them.. they call us crazy because we sing in the park to praise GOD after a fellowship.. but im happy even they left.. God gave me a new one that i can treasure.. 🙏🙏🙏 i praise God ..

I listened to this sermon even knowing i don't have friends, been wanting to have one 😢😢 Hoping to have a support system whom i can lean on.

I have never left a comment on a RU-vid video, but I am being lead to leave one today. My best friend died 2 months ago unexpectedly on July 5th. One of the strongest women I know, and did EVERYTHING to the glory of God. Her and I were each other’s support system. We worked together in ministry and we constantly fellowship together. Being that we were both single Christians, we often shared how lonely we were, but would then encourage each other and direct our thoughts on God’s word. It was very shocking when I discovered her caused of death was cardiovascular disease, when she was the most healthiest person I knew. But it shocked me even more when Pastor Holly mentioned that it has been linked to loneliness. I often feel alone, and it has been a100 times worst since my prayer partner is gone.... my prayer today is for God to surround me with a God ordained Support System! And I know God does not make mistakes and I believe that He will send the sisters I need. Praying 🙏🏽

Struggling to open up is such a hold back! Pray for anybody else who is introverted to find the courage to trust and open up before the storm comes. Great message from an amazing preacher!

Loneliness is real the enemy has brought such division among neighbors and family. A lot of us stand alone. It’s super sad. Making friends in real life is actually pretty hard. Even in church. ESP in church.But my support is the lord.

Your support system must be: 1. Based on the right thing 2. Formed before your crisis 3. Founded on honesty Go #GirlPower - together with people you trust!

I am a FRIEND...of. many, but have NO, REAL friends, nor family. Our Holy Father and Christ, are my ONLY FRIENDS. But I enjoy, being a friend, even if I'm misunderstood, AND labeled!

I am 60 years old and I haven't had a good friend since 1989. I threw myself into my children, and they are wonderful, but I would love to have a girlfriend that shared my vision, hopes and dreams. I am not sure how to even search out for a friend. I joined a connect group at my new church City Gate in Ohio. I pray I find a fit with someone. Holly you touched on some serious truths. What a blessing to have friends to do life with. Even if it’s just one friend being open and vulnerable with that one person is gift.

At 16 having no friends is really hard because these are my teens years but I pray God will bless me with genuine and Godly friends 🙏🏾

Thank you Holly. I have been struggling with loss of friendships and the wrong friendships. Which has left me lonely and sad. I am wrestling with it. God will make a way for me to gain the right friends again.

My husband and I have been going through a rough season in our lives.. really rough.. he has an illness that he is fighting daily and I'm heartbroken watching the struggle.. it's just hard.. Hearing this message I just did that half laugh half cry thing, it made me remember something my husband said to me, probably one of the sweetest things he could have ever said,.. he told me that for the longest time he couldn't hear God speaking to him.. that he thought he must be praying wrong because others at church would say God said this or that.. but he doesnt hear God like they do..but he realized that he does hear God speaking to him.. that he believes that the Lord speaks to him through me.. at that moment my heart was so warm.. I mean how beautiful is that? And I know that God speaks to me through him for sure.. my husband is the one that encouraged me to go to church in the first place, and the changes that have happened since I let God take over.. I know the Lord used my husband to pull me into the light.. down the right path.. so anyway.. it's just so awesome to hear you say that God speaks through the ones close to us when you're around the right people.. I'm really glad to know we arent crazy lol.. it's a beautiful feeling to have people who are so right for you, hand picked by God.. husband, friend whoever it is..... I just cant get over how awesome God is.. and how I cant thank the Lord enough for my husband.. and how truly grateful I am to God for the Furtick fam for putting these videos up.. yall have no idea how much yall help us in our walk with the Lord!

2 years ago my granddaughter was taken away from me all of a sudden. I was a hot mess! But, had it not been for my awesome Support System, my Bible Study family, I would've been lost, depressed! Their love and faith carried me! This past June, I was reunited with my son and granddaughter! God is Good! Giving Him all honor and praise! Holly's message served as confirmation! ❤❤❤🙏

Enjoyed this message, have to listen to it again though to truly digest it. I have always had a problem with friends, I feel like I never have people who will be there for me through think and thin. I mostly blame myself for it so sometimes, rarely I get really lonely. I get comforted knowing God is my friend though and that makes me push to talk to God more. Love this topic! I would love to listen to more sermons discussions about friendships. I think friendships are one of the most disregarded and uncared for subjects. Friendship is the foundation of relationship. You can't be relationally, physically (ie. healthy contact) or emotionally (ie. being vulnerable) intimate with someone without first establishing friendship.

Often times we ruin relationships or even feel inadequate in a relationship/friendship because we choose to listen to enemy voice instead of Gods. God wants us to be in relationships that’s why we are all different and unique. We as women must get back to healthy relationships. I NEEDED to hear this. It is so on time!!

I recently moved and I'm getting involved in a church. God has put a few women in my life who are older but no one my age. I needed this because I need a better support system. I came out if a bad situation living with an addict several months ago and he passed away due to an overdose a month ago. I'm struggling to find peace and not have blame. I've had a lot of support from family and friends but no one seems to actually understand what it's like to loose that person

Am not good at keeping friends,cos some that has come my way aren't people who are groaning for Christ. So I prefered staying alone and also praying for the right friends to come my part.

THANKYOU for blessing me with this! Last night I called onto god with passion because I am so lonely and unhappy. I have no good, deep friendship bonds or people who I trust who can support me in my life. A young girl of my age shouldn’t go through life alone. I’ve been lonely for sometime now and when I was younger, I thought the answer to this loneliness was a MAN so I longed for a relationship so bad! One day god will bless me with a good man, but that’s not what I need, I need good group of friends. I need to be able to open up my heart to people. I need to support and be the support to someone else. With covid-19 going around, church is cancelled so I decided to look for a sermon on friendship, because that is what I truly need to hear about. This was a perfect sermon and gave me the hard truth I needed to hear. I have opening up issues and trust issues, and I need to learn to be live in honesty and the light of god. For so long I've felt like i knew something was missing and even though i knew what it was, i kept trying to convince myself that i could be my own support system or i used to say that my husband was my best friend, which wasn't a bad thing.... It's just not the same😰 I still felt that lack of support or understanding that you can only get from another woman. I want that! I always felt better after talking to friends but was told that man cant help and only God can. You seem to believe we need a support group and not just God. I have two very good friends who I can share anything with , one who lives faraway so it is distant relationship but the best, the other lives not far away. Every woman desires best close female friendships but find it hard to get them. It’s also not easy to trust as a lot of women have been very hurt by others. I praise God for my friends, but I still get lonely at times and know so do many people.we all need support from friends, family and other christians which doesn’t come easy either. I have to totally depend on God because he will never leave me and is faithful in all things to the end.🙏🏻

Yes I totally agree and God will restore the years because I was at a church when I first became a Christian and they didn't want to talk about it and so suffering in silence alone but one thing it did is push me into the Arms of Jesus but I have prayed for the churches to be a safe place Hallelujah and yes it should be a support system pray for us up here we are in Wisconsin we need churches like that up here

Oh man 15 minutes in and I’m already crying.... I am the friend who drops everything for the people I love. I’ve had best friends, but I don’t think I’ve ever been someone’s best friend, or “person”. I was self talking to myself as to why I was alone, wanting to get back in touch with someone that broke my heart but after hearing this message. watching this really touched my spirit. I long for good whole friends that I am able to share my life with and support them in theirs as well. I just continue to seek God and I walk out on faith at events and in the grocery store and try to connect with people but seems that everyone i have encountered either already has a group of friends supporting them and not interested in another or are not interested in being a good friend.
