Overdrive "off" vs "strong" 

for me.. between off, low, normal and extreme.. i choose Extreme. no impact on the Monitor or TV lifespan..

Normal should be good enough, but try to test the difference between extreme and normal, if extreme gives ghosting and more blur change it back to normal.

i prefer extreme/strong even tho u get the lil blue thing behind because it looks better in games likes minecraft but its what u prefer i prefer it because it gives less motion blur which i hate and looks more stable

You have to find the best settings for your monitor. Too much overdrive creates ghosting and artifacts.

for most monitors for 120hz output,the weak or low setting is the best of minimal overshoot and low input lag/response time
