Great update Dan. 👍😎 Thank you for sharing the “Correct” information regarding engine break-in. 👍❤️😎 As a professional engine builder/machinist including aircraft engines, automotive, extreme racing endurance applications etc, the “manufacturers recommendation” is the one to go with, every time, PERIOD! 😉 The cylinder material, thickness, the way the cylinder walls are finished, type of rings used, coatings on cylinder wall of used, BMEP the engine will realize through its lifespan, etc are quite specific and will have slightly different procedures for break-in to maximize not only performance but lifespan and performance across that lifespan. Again, thank you Dan for the update, congrats on having Lola back up and flying. 🔥❤️👍😎

This is another Osh that won't be my first to attend, so I won't see you there. However, I wish you a great time up there. I'm glad Lola is back in the air, and I agree, go by what the manufacturer says.

Although Savvy Aviation "natural oil for first 10 hours" the synthetic oil. * How about changing the cowlings to hinge and latch so you can inspect it easier? 🌏🇦🇺
