Nice Shirt! 🤣 I just got a Subaru Forester and am in the process of planning a DIY Conversion to Sleep in it. Loved seeing your “OverLan” Experience! Inspires me to keep expanding in the Outdoors.
Yes, it's a great way to say outside when you don't necessarily want to hike for days on end. As winter draws nearer I plan to do more of this. I can sleep inside the Jeep as well. Thanks on the shirt! :-)
Finally got to finish this! Man, the camera angles/ cinematography in the beginning was choice. Reflection of Jeep door while driving? Sick. Glad to see that Amazon chair get some love. Lol. Ready to upgrade myself now. Going to have to check out Hoosier it’s on the list, not too far from Ky. Keep the goods coming. Nice mix up.
Nice video. Hunting in the Hoosier National Forest is a popular pastime. Campsites that are open year round are often packed during various hunting seasons in the fall/winter. Where exactly is this. I camp regularly at Tipsaw lake and Inadin/Celina lakes.
@@jlcworld91 you know it’s hard for me to pick one over the other. The nice thing is if you camp at one you can access the other for free. When I take all of my family (5 kid and wife) in the camper I tend to prefer Tipsaw. Tipsaw also has a beach so the kids like that. Tipsaw has some cool tent sides as well. Indiana Celina has some wonderful views on the south slope camp loop. There is a short 1 mile loop that even my little ones can hike. Both spots are winners in my book.
Great outting Lance! Your camera shots look fantastic!! You guys set a very good example by cleaning up. As far as the wild west....yes, in Indiana there are 2 types ....those that carry guns and those that sleep with them. 🤣🤣🤣
sorry to sound dumb but never been there..do u just find a spot, pull over and set up camp...never been overloading but want to start but am a little apprehensive...thx
I enjoyed the video... but... that's a hatchet, not an axe and you are not using it correctly. You need to chop in a v pattern, not straight down. Also you should use a saw or a real axe to segment a tree. a hatchet is good for splitting the wood into smaller pieces but is not ideal. If weight is not a concern, a proper axe paired with a saw is usually the best option for processing wood.
LOL, I have no idea why I kept calling it an "axe". It definitely was the wrong tool for the job. I plan on throwing a saw in Jeep, and eventually getting a real axe to mount on a cargo basket on the roof. Thanks so much for watching!
