Even though it feels lonely sometimes in the evening, seeing those colors is worth it. I like about half my days to be alone, and half with a buddy to talk to. A campfire keeps me busy, as does reading a book. Some scotch puts me to sleep haha.

By the time the weekend comes around, my wife and I are anxious to get out there. We spend our weekends on day trips which are cool but have been researching for a good while now how to set up a rig to self sustain us for extended times out there. LOL. I figured if someone made it that far into the video they'd find that amusing. As I said in my video on what you need to get started, just get out there. Make a one night trip and see what you're missing then adjust and go for two. I'm honestly still in that 1-3 night range most of the time and trying to figure out how to make it a couple of weeks so I can get out west. Don't spend too much time planning your setup without actually testing it or you'll end up with a lot of knowledge and no experience. Thanks for watching as always!
You definitely timed it out good to catch the leaves in color and still on the trees. I always try to figure out where you are when we watch. You need to learn to relax at and enjoy camp. Nothing wrong with reading a book or looking at maps, etc.
They absolutely were. I spent days trying to color grade the video to match what I saw but I don't think you can really capture the true beauty on video. It was awesome.
