This really fits with Ainz's character. How he feels on the loss of his guildmates. As a side note I love Overlord for a lot of reasons, one of the big one's being that He reacts the same I way I would If I found myself transformed into one of my RPG characters in a fantasy world. "...Well this is awesome, fuck my old life. I'm a skeleton man now."
seanfall basically becoming a fucking god lol, I love how in the light novels he's always playing it safe just cuss that world item. He thinks there's another player like him there and there's a lot of misunderstandings in the novel that make him think there is. But side note on that actually there's a bonus chapter during one of the novels that lowkey hints at the elfs king possibly being a player.
I feel the same in some ways. However I would still look for a way back, but if I didn't find one. Than mine as well make a life with what I got, right?
@@NeverAloneji i would love if there is a human class player who also maxed his character and can kill some of the floor guardian to teach them humans can be accomplish them.
King of Poliwhirls not even close, the world is a "real" fantasy world, in which some features of the game still work, also this was out before One-Punch-Man was and having a powerful character doesnt mean its OPM For me, its an "get stucked in RPG-World" on its own, just like SAO and log Horizon are And believe me, in the Arc that comes after Shalltear, nothing would remind you of OPM or SAO anymore because the borders between game and reality, which are already pretty thin, will perish. Just the more reason why its a shame that the 4th arc didnt get covered in the Anime
Savaris96 I know a powerful character doesn't make it OPM, I just meant that neither characters ever have to try to win their fights. And hopefully yen press goes faster with translating Overlord so I can read the fourth arc. I'm guessing I have to wait until book 4?
Who says he is just the ruler of Tomb Nazarick? Hail to the king, the ruler, the conqueror, the Overlord of this land, coming to spread the name of his friends and their lives. Hail to the Overlord Ainz Ooal Gown!
The funny thing is though that he is only badass like that in the anime. If you'd read the light novel you would realize how much of a troll he is. His entire inner monologue is basically how he bullshits his way and thinking "shit shit shit what do I do?"
Wait, you are kidding right? Please let this be real I LOVE Overlord , I've read the Light Novel up to Vol 11 2 times, watched anime and read manga like 7-8 times each, and read the web novel (however far it has been translated atm) 3 times. Like the webnovel version slightly more, cause I cannot stand Albedo and there is one more difference I like more in the WN, but apart from that...
I've spent the last hour or so watching Overlord amvs (and watched a couple last night as well) and I can safely say this is the best and most well edited Overlord Amv I have seen yet! GREAT job, I can see you put a lot of work into this one :)
A tad late, but I feel like contributing to explain why Ainz is as he is. His fears: - Fears loss of comrades (servants) - Fears being a poor leader - Fears being abandoned - Fears any threat that may strain, alter, sever or otherwise threaten the loyalty of his servants All pointing towards 1 fact that you most likely observed. He feels that the creations of his former guild mates are their reincarnations, their will and their legacy to him who is caught in a strange new world. This is why he tries to solidify his grip on the situation, his power as a ruler and wielder of great magic. He fears being left alone, with a crushed spirit and motivation of ever trying to get back to the real world. I'd also like to add that Ainz is probably among the best protagonists ever, because most of his choices are based on sound, albeit brutal, but still very rational choices. He isn't a white knight, and his foremost goal is to spread knowledge of the name of the guild, which he now uses as his own in the hope that someone, somewhere in this strange new world knows of him and the situation they're caught in. Superb anime and am looking forward to season 2, which should be pretty soon.
well it has 3 seasons now so i cant wait for season 4 cause its clearly not yet done infact season 3s ending made it sounds like its far from done so a lot more of my most loved anime character is to come
Ainz really would have been a god tier Raid Leader for modern MMO's. The man knew his world inside and out, and used every trick in the book to take on one of his most powerful NPC's.
I appreciate it) But it's surely not the best AMV of mine and it's far not the best AMV ever) Soon i will upload new AMV of Seven Deadly Sins S2 and hope to see your feedback about it!
Also if you like reading books, there's the light novels volume 1-12 rn and volume 13 about to come out within next few months... so much crazy shit happens in the novels, we talking building kingdoms and genocides and shit. Our boy ainz ain't fuckn around.
Him and demiurge basically the illuminati manipulating nations and causing wars n shit. It gets crazy the amount of shit happening in the world that's secretly caused by nazarick.
My thanks for some good rewiev, if you want to know about my opinion, i can say that i would not spend so much time to make AMV about anime that i don`t like. Also i have already read all the books, and keep waiting for season two. At the end i can honestly say that book series is amazing.
gogich1786 AMV's agreed, i haven't got so much into a universe since TES and i didn't read a book for 3 years before this let alone finish a book (didn't finish the ln's yet but working on it)
if Ainz had a backbone then all of overlord would be boring. its only exciting because his race an the npc's settings that make it so good. + the no backbone thing so he does all he can to fit in with the evil nature of the npc's. it really is something. ainz is really a good guy in a bad crowd its fun to see how he has changed from season 1 to season 4. in season 1 he saw them as npc's until the end of season 1 and by season 4 he saw them as the only thing that mattered along with his kingdom. witch is funny because in season 1 he saw humans as having more value. the long and the short of it is over time he has lost his confidence as a leader and he leans to heavy on demiurge and albedo while all but shutting down his critical thinking skills because he got burned by them in season 1 he is to light hearted thinking everything will just go his way this makes him an easy target for anyone looking to take him down with a plan from the sidelines and he knows this is way he does things the way he does them. but still does he ever go off the deep end some times and work against himself without knowing it. he is slightly smarter than Philip witch is why he can understand his way of thinking. they both hit the high notes and forget the rest kind of people. without very observant people around Ainz it would not be hard to see Ainz as Philip if they where the same race.
