in the novel it is said that the 8GK spread tier magic which implies the 8GK had 5EO (5 elements of overcoming) which allows you to change the magic system. dark wisdom not memorize up to 718 spells, but if you kill a player using dark wisdom you learn one of the spells the enemy player had a random.

@@catt8111 He would have to kill one of the old dragon lords to see if it works. Most dragons, like the frost dragons Ainz conquered, don't know wild magic.

He going to attack a Dragon Lord within the first 5 seconds I guarantee. He simping for that dragon loot and possible abilities.
I was so happy when they stated 6th tier magic was the highest humanity could reach normally. It really put the magic system of the natives on a visible scale against Nazarick. I wish they did more. We keep hearing "this person is strong" or "this one is a real threat" but it doesn't help visualize a scale like this (especially when army bone daddy bodies them). This makes me perpetually invested to learn the strength of the people outside Nazarick
Remember in season 1 when Khajit and Clementine forced Nfirea to wear the Crown of Wisdom? That was so he would be forced to cast the 7th tier spell Undead Army. The Crown allows the wearer to go above the normal limit as the cost of being turned into a mindless magic battery.

Wild Magic is also far more destructive, and not in a good way. It's heavily implied that the spell that the Dragon Emperor cast was not intended to work the way that it did. It dragged the World Items into the New World, but also brought Players, too. And it's implied that the spell could not be turned off after it was cast, since the summoning happens every century or so. And the spell the Dragon Queen can use requires a 1 million soul sacrifice.
tier magic is better for like every reason except that wild magic can do stuff like summon people. but even then, you could learn tier magic and then learn wild magic too lol
I think that tier magic is better there not alot of info about wild magic the reason why I say tier magic is better because it's flexible while wild can be op to a anyone that has a wild magic but that's rare and also tier mp cost are better while magic is a decent last stand I don't one has alot of info whole the other is a grain of sand of info
Opposite, PDL can affect Ainz despite the world item. Wild magic can trump even world items in some aspects. Though at the cost of being rather hard to pull off and the difficulty of powering wild magic

And I didn't wish to alter too much of the info I got from the wiki because I might skew the meaning since English isn't exactly my first language. Well, the only dragon lord that's somewhat known is the Platinum Dragon Lord and he's speculated to be around level 90, so still a bit weaker as compared to the floor guardians
No mana recovery items? That doesn't sound to fun for low-level casters or high-level casters, unless you know super tier you'll run out of mana to fast.
