I like how in previous videos, Gaz would always pause to find the after credit, but there were none. Then comes this episode, and he didn't pause. Man is curse 🤣

Fun fact: In the novels, Demiurge thinks that Ainz refers humans as "beasts", so he gives them the name "Abelion Sheep" and describes them as bipedal sheep. He is actually refering to captured humans tortured and skinned so he can use that to solve the scroll shortage problem. In the web series, Demiurge is more sly and devious, so he knows Ains would stop his experiments if he knows is doing them with humans, so he baptised them as sheep to avoid concerns. Sheep = humans - Ainz thought they would be beasts, demiurge thought he was referring to lower species *humans* as beasts so he called them sheep and named them based on their area, hence BIPEDAL. So yeah, demi is farming "sheep"

Like Ainz said at the end of season 1, before the big battle with Shalltear, there might come a time when he would not be there to rule over the guardians. So to that end he's trying to make the guardians think more for themselves rather than just blindly following since if the day does come when Ainz won't be there, they wouldn't be headless chickens.

Hi friend, I'm glad you're reacting to this, one of my favorite episodes. As always, I will try to clarify some things about what happens, based on information from the light novel. In this chapter we are introduced to Victim, one of the 2 guardians that we still did not know. He physically speaking he is the weakest guardian of all, however, upon death he unleashes an unknown power that once stopped an invasion of 1,500 players when Ygdrassil was a game. Surely this happened in conjunction with other forces, but so far, the eighth floor that Victim defends is considered the most powerful barrier in the Great Tomb of Nazarick. In Nazarick there are two types of NPCs, custom ones and "automatic" ones. The former need money from Ygdrassill to revive upon death, while the automatic ones simply respawn after a while and are naturally much weaker than the custom ones. Ainz reveals to us that, except for the lich he created, all the dead that Cocytus received as his army were actually these automatic NPCs, so losing them does not represent a real loss, because from the beginning they were cannon fodder. Now let's talk a little about Demiurge. His creator, Ulbert, was a player who loved to play the Villain Role. Of course, wasn’t serious and he was only doing it because they were in a Video Game and no one would really get hurt in the real world. He simply enjoyed the more "romantic" aspects of villainy. In that sense he designed Demiurge to be a kind of "evil mastermind" in his role as NPC. But the problem is that he has now become a real being. Demiurge is a being with karma (-500), which means “Extremely Evil”. While characters like Aura or Mare (-100) see living beings outside of Nazarick as unimportant entities, almost stones in the road, Demiurge enjoys the suffering of others (when it is not the inhabitants of Nazarick). And although he is absolutely loyal to Ainz, Demiurge will always try to do as much damage as possible to the people outside, without going outside of his mission parameters. So, when he talks about "Two-Legged Sheep" he is not really referring to an animal, but to human beings that he has captured in the Holy Oak Kingdom and keeps them in his workshop on the Abelion Hills. Demiurge is assigned the mission of finding a way to produce magical scrolls and for that he is skinning people to obtain the necessary material. The scrolls that Cocytus and Entoma used in the previous chapter were made from this human skin. Naturally, since Demiurge thinks of Ainz as if he were a true god, he assumes that Aijnz already knows everything he is doing. That's why he makes a joke of calling those poor people "Abelion Sheep" and assumes that Ainz understands... ¡But Ainz doesn't know anything! He actually believes that Demiurge has captured a rare breed of bipedal sheep. Something similar happens during his conversation with Cocytus. He tells to Ainz about "the courage of warriors" that he found among the lizardmen. But Ainz has no idea what he's talking about, because in his world he was just a simple office worker and doesn't understand things like warrior honor. However, all the NPCs believe that Ainz's every gesture is part of a greater grand conspiracy and they rationalize everything he does or says so that it seems like part of their plan for world domination. Now, it must be made clear that Ainz really planned for Cocytus to learn from this fight with the lizardmen... but everything else was purely coincidental. I also want to clarify something that many viewers missed: When Ainz decides not to "rule the lizardmen by fear", he is referring to what will happen AFTER he conquers them. But first they have to make them submit to their authority and the best way to do that is by making a display of power. The stone giant who throws a huge boulder into the center of the lake is the last floor guardian of Nazarick, Gargantua. Unlike the other Guardians, he is not a custom NPC but a Golem that the Ainz Own Goal guild earned during an event and needs to be turned on for it to work. But despite this they have him taking care of the lake on the 4th floor. The spell that Ainz uses to freeze the lake is Super Tier Magic Creation, which modifies the terrain itself. The real reason Ainz used it was to test his range and also to confirm that there were no players hiding around, because in the game everyone always attacked the one trying to cast super tier magic first. I take this opportunity to clarify that the luminous invocation circle for Super Tier Magic is the same regardless of the spell that is going to be used, because it is not something exclusive to Ainz, but in theory any player who exceeds level 71 can use it, although some of they demand that the player sacrifice some of their levels. (something Ainz doesn't want to do for any reason because he doesn't know how to get them back in the new world, so he's very selective with them). Super Level Magic always takes a long time to cast and the player can't defend himself, so his party should protect him at that time because any enemy attack will interrupt the cast. Hence, it serves as bait for Ainz to attract a potential player to attack him. Well that's all my friend. Sorry for the delay, but things happened to me. Gaz you skipped again the post credits part, and this one is... Hilarious to say the least

Some things that could use explained: Victim is modeled after an aborted fetus and was created to die because on its death very powerful spells are activated. Demiurge's Happy Farm: paper scrolls are only capable of very low tier spells so they began experimenting and found that Human flesh was a better substitute for paper and could be used for higher tier spells (theres a mechanic where the younger and more innocent they are the higher tier the spell that can be written on it). So Demiurge started up a human farm where people are raised just to be flayed and have their skin used for scrolls while their body is used as feed for the other "Albion Sheep". Always remember Ainz is NOT the hero, he is NOT the good guy, he IS the rising Demon Lord of this new world. All that he does is for the betterment of Nazerick, if something is not beneficial to the Tomb then they are erased or made useful in some way. PS. You missed the last scene which is just a second long where Crusch asks Zaryusu to "impregnate me". Its important for the next episode.

Ainz is doing an experiment with Cocytus. He wants to see if the guardians are capable of learning and developing beyond what was programmed into them via their lore etc. Ainz knows there is always the chance that he may die or disappear at some point and wants to know to know that his family/children will be able to survive without him. He doesn't want that to happen but there is always chance it might. Also Ainz was super happy when Cocytus want to make a selfish request about the Lizard men. It was Cocytus thinking for himself and the word he worded it as being a benefit to Nazarick gave Ainz all the more reason to listen to it. He wants the Guardians to speak up and not just follow orders blindly. Gargantua is a golem which was provided to Ainz Ooal Gown as a bonus from the devs for beating the dungeon Nazarick. As such even when he transferred to this new world he didn't gain a mind of his own like the other guardians. He is a guardian in name only and all those on his floor report directly to Ainz instead. He is incredibly strong. He could possibly beat Shalltear in a fight who is the strongest guardian due to the absurd amount of stats it has. Of course his lack of will and intelligence is a huge downside.

I don't know if anyone told you this, but you always remember that the protagonist of Overlord are villains. Likeable villains but still villains.

Clueless Ains once again, Albion Sheep are humans Demiurge was making a joke and Ains didn't catch it but Demiurge thinks Ains is in on the joke and is running with it. Oh no, did you miss the last scene? I thought by now you knew to scan to the very end. lol. You missed the big line. lol.

This episode will always be a highlight for me simply because of that royal procession

4:40 its not actually sheep but Humans its a small spoiler ferry tiny1 no idea how many, but hes workers skin them alive and then heal them and repeat, Demiurge is pretty twisted

Victim is special because this character can suicide to revive someone ussing a skill. Because of the level system when you revive you lose levels and inteligence unless is by victim's skill. This character has that skill no matter the level so it can be used right after being revived. The guild got it as a trump card in case of surprise invasion Gargantua is a prize won by the guild for being the first clearing a dungeon and has masive power with no inteligence.

why is everyone sprouting nonesense about Albelion sheep being humans.... its never stated they are human, and being that the albelion hill region is home to various demihuman tribes, its more likely they are actually bipedal sheep. does demiurge use humans skin as well? yes. does that mean all skin is human? no. are albelion sheep human? most likely not.
