Sebas doesn't use much magic. The Shadow Demons are monsters that live in Nazarick. They hide in someone's shadow and are used for stealth and sneak attacks. Sebas is actually a monk like Zenberu of the Lizardmen. Also, Solution and Sebas were told to collect info in the capital city and keep their heads down. Nothing else. Ainz didn't ask them to go interacting with the populace more than necessary, so in Solutions mind, bringing in strangers is going to cause unneeded trouble that Ainz isn't looking for. There is *no* training that can allow humans to go above a certain ceiling. Only the most talented like Gazef, Brain and Clementine can reach Hero class, which is about level 30. And an even smaller minority can maybe get to level 40ish, if they manage to live for about 200 years. In Overlord humans are _not_ the apex predator of the world. The only way to break the wall is to abandon humanity, which is what the elderly necromancer in season 1 was attempting.
being born with a talent also really helps in reaching a high ground, Gazeff, Clementine and Brain were all born with something that really helped them become stronger
Fluder is about level 50 though. While he is extremely old he is still the single most powerful human, even above the likes of evil eye. He’s also the only human capable of using 6th tier magic

Fun Fact: Sebas Tian, Yuri Alpha and CZ are the only "Safe" and "Kind" Maids and Butlers of Nazarick because of their positive karma even despite their extreme loyalty to Ainz. But unlike other Maids, Sebas has nearly the same resolve, motive and personality from his creator Touch Me, because of pure Justice and Resolve to help the weak and he thinks humans are not as bad, but rather thinks them as a bit special. But he disrespects towards humans that are ugly, arrogant, cruel and disrespectful.
Since Pestonya is also a maid, shouldn't you added her into list as that as well? ;) Might as well add Aureole Omega too coz she is now part of the pleiades, and the fact that she's an immortal human herself.
1) Shadow demons are not Sebas' ability, they are scout and meatshield for all Nazarick field agents. 2) Solution's dialogue when talking to Tsuare is different in light novel. The lines in LN highly suggest she is talking about eating Tsuare's fetus instead of her. 3) Sebas has highest alignment, which is 500( Very Good ), combine with his setting and his memory about Touch Me, he is the only one who care about the weak. But that does not means it will affect his loyalty 4) The reason of most new world characters are low level is because of exp system and other system such as revive, which haven't clarify by author. Ainz keep experimenting those system.
sebas is a draconian, one of the strongest playable races on yggdrasil, also sebas is a warrior monk, on his regular form he has a rock paper scissors relationship with albedo and cocytus (cocytus beats albedo, albedo beats sebas and sebas beats cocytus) but on his true draconian form sebas is just behind shalltear, having bad odds against her (actually his odds against her are better than ainz') sebas has an interesting view on humans, he thinks a LOT of humans are despicable and undeserving of life, for example zack (the guy from s1 that solution ate with her boobs), for sebas the sole existence of a man like that was utterly offensive, however other humans, like the kind ones who engaged and recieved sebas and solution friendly are the ones deserving of life, and that those whove been wronged but want to keep living. and demonstrate it are deserving of mercy and help (like Tsuare)
people from the new world can level up too. like nfirea baleare leveled "pharmacist" and "magic caster" to become strong in his sense. others become warriors or some other job. you can level up multiple times in one job. there are racial levels too, like becoming an elder lich level 5 or so. the higher you level the stronger you get and the more skills you can learn. but people have limits. normal humans are "gold capped" as from the gold plate of the adventurers. they can't get stronger, as hard as they try they can't. Climb is one of them. He has reached his max level. Players from Yggdrasil of course can get level 100. other races than humans can achieve higher levels. sometimes it's a talent that's needed to get higher level. and because of that level thing, people lose level after resurrection from death. when a player has not enough level, they can't survive the resurrection and stay dead. only strong people can get resurrected by normal resurrection spells. of course Ainz has items that allow resurrection without mistake.
Sebas is one of the few in Nazarick that has a positive karma rating, meaning he's morally good. Ainz on the other hand is negative 500 and considered "extremely evil".
Exp gain is really slow in this world. Most human mages can go up to tier 3 spells alone in their lifetime. When Momon introduced Nabe as a tier 3 mage last season, other adventurers were shocked that someone so young already can go tier 3. Any mages can go beyond tier 3 are really rare. Most mages need to do rituals together just to cast tier 5 and 6 like what Khajit did with his cultists. Extending lifespan is needed and there are those did tried that and only handful succeeded.
That is actually something interesting, that mage from Momons first party that got killed by Clementine, had the trait of learning magic twice as fast, wouldn't that mean she would have eventually been capable of Tier 6 magic?(Potentially.) She would have been a legend if not for Clementine.
@@Atomizer74 I thought her trait was more about learning new spells more quickly, rather than the upper limits of her overall potential. A wider pool of similar depths to other mages.
@@perrycarters3113 Maybe, I think I remember something about the reason humans couldn't reach those heights was because they didn't live long enough, so if you learned twice as fast as everyone else, wouldn't that mean you reach 2x the potential of any other human? Maybe I jumped the gun on Tier 6 though, I don't remember, it has been awhile since I wrote the comment and watched the show.
great reactin, by the way, when sebas ask the criminal when he find tsure, "what is she?" note that he does not refer to who, but as an object, because in nazarick being like shalltear, or entoma, do not see human as people but things, toy or food; but this humans torture her even though they consider her a person, that is why he judge them
I wish the anime actually had a scene where it explains sebas because if you don't know he is a dragonoid. Basically his *actual* form is of that of a dragon. He is also meant to look similar to what touchme is meant to look like. He is also nearly on par with the floor guardians and can go 1v1 with one of them with in reason. Edit: because of his karma he has very high justice and morals and sees good humans to be saved and he will not hesitate to kill bad humans. So yeah slightly different views then the other NPC's.
There was supposed to be a scene where Shalltear, Sebas, and Solution were inside the carriage coach discussing about why Shalltear hated Aura, their concern about the identity of Pandora's actor, explaining that Sebas is a dragonoid, talking about their creator (which did happened), and so on. Sadly, If this anime was a 18 episodes series per season, everything would've been added in from the light novel.

So a thing it glosses over last episode is that getting revived makes anyone weaker. It didn’t specify how much, most revivals reduces the targets level by 5, so the once lv 20ish chiefs are closer to 15 now
(im not speak english very well so i will put this in spanish) En ese mundo los niveles de bondad y maldad se miden por los niveles del karma de cada personaje. Fuera de Nazarik no se sabe mucho pero se tienen datos de los NPC de nazarik. Sebas tiene un carnaval +300 es decir,los seres humanos le agradan y no los he menos. Otro ejemplo de karma positivo es Yuri Alpha (150) Y CZ (50) Después de ellos está el karma neutral, no están de ningún lado y solo siguiente órdenes. Serían Pandora's actor, x Cocytus, Victim, Eclair (el pingüino) Y abajo están los de karma negativo, osea el 85% de todo nazarik. Aura y Mare (-100, pero Mare es más malvada que su hermana) Lupusregina -200, no los odia pero si los mata por razones poco relevantes. Narberal Gamma y Solution tienen -400, son las pleiades más malvadas y odian 100% a los humanos. Y luego están los que de verdad son peligrosos para la existencia de los humanos. Demiurg Albedo Ainz Los 3 tienen -500 de karma Ainz es una excepción ya que el es un No-Muerto pero con la mente de un humano ... Si no fuera así den por echo que ese mundo ya estaría en ruinas.
entoma tambien tiene karma negativo, pero ella es mas o menos segura para los humanos, pues aunque los ve como presa entoma nunca atacaria uno sin provocacion o sin hambre, ademas no es propicia a la tortura a menos que se trate de alguien a quien ella odie, como evileye

The reason Solution offended me in this episode was she did not report to Ainz immediately. Sebas is not undead, so 8th and higher tier spell can mind control him. If a subordinate is straight up refusing to report ANYTHING to Ainz, chances are either he is mind controlled or revolting. Solution not reporting about Sebas' conduct meant she not only got herself potentially killed, but also put entire Nazarick's security at risk has Sebas really been revolting.
Sebas is kinda fucking up by helping Tuare though, he might get Nazarick into things he shouldn´t, he´s here to gather information, he shouldn´t be pocking his nose into other stuff, specially without telling Ainz
Spoilers the platinum dragon lord (the dragon I assume you are referring to) would be lower than 90 (probably around 70-80, at best) since he was weaker than the 8 greed kings but stronger (at least by a little bit) as the thirteen heroes.
@@captainslender12 it wasn't him. Other True Dragon Lords didn't join the fight. And most of the ones that fought were low leveled. Plus in a bad end that the author wrote, PDL's ultimate attack has enough power to fatally damage Shalltear.
Marre isekai, in simple terms means other world. It doesn’t matter if it’s reincarnation or a summoned deal or what not. If it takes place in a fantasy like world with mmo aspects, it’s an isekai.
So most human soldiers are lv 10-20 and the best of the best like gazef and high level adventurers are closer to 30. If they train their hearts out they may level up another level or two but in a real world why would they do dangerous things that one would do in a game
You do not want to know what eight-fingers did to Tuare, I found out and are so utterly disgusted that I almost want to say that AInz did nothing wrong(though on the other hand, what Ainz does is not different to how some governments do in our world, cause unrest, manipulate people in power and introducing materials and weapons that will cause instability to the nation). But Ainz do treat people under his rule better than all the other nations do so far
