Shalltear was literally having to fight the entire 41 member guild with all the gear Ains loaded on. Shorty is the nickname Aura is called by Shalltear, that eye that appeared behind Shalltear causing her to hesitate was a skill Aura used and Shalltear recognized it.

Aura has an ability to see very far away, Ainz heasitated to take out Shaltier and Aura used her breath to cause fear in Shaltier for a split second to keep her from being able to capitalize on the blunder and use her lance to heal herself. The only reason it was able to cause her fear at all is because of the fact that she wasn't fully in control of herself with that she was still experiencing mind control. You're right about Aura giving Shalltear a second of distraction. It was because Ainz hesitated when he broke the cash-shop item. Btw, you'll love the second season as well :D

at last moment ainz hesitated to kill her because he is not sure he can resurrect her and shelltear was going to destroy the item in ainz hands but aura used her spell which is not mind control spell but more like taunt spell. the spell was effective because aura was equipped with world level item.

Also where you say they are becomming a family it is only right as the supervisor of the guardians that mommy Albedo becomes the mom and daddy Ainz the dad!

Yeah, you might be the first one to understand that at the end of the battle was Aura not something else xD due to pseudo spoilers but still it's painful when people don't figure that out and spend all next season waiting to find out what it was xD There was something LN I wanted to mention and forgot, I'll edit it in if I remember xD

Ainz hesitated in killing shaltear and aura was expectating/prepared for that, so Aura used on of her skills, very basic one, it induces terror on his target, for shaltear it was only a minor distraction just enough to give Ains time to use the item

well you're not wrong about pay to win, Ains literally had to pay to win to manage this duel, Shalltear is insanely OP, especially in 1v1 as they were saying before, he could not have won in a conventional fashion.

The only detail I care that you remember are that Aura and Mare are sister and brother and which one is which. So many people always get it wrong and it’s annoying since those two are very distinct in that they come as a set. Also, remember that this isekai show in particular is head and shoulders above all others when it comes to world building. It’s amusing watching your reactions and then a few seconds/minutes later your questions are answered.

I have to say the dub did a bit better on a few bits. When he was talking about shalltear fighting all 41 in dub he said something like "your not just fighting one supreme being, but fourty-one. Sorry, but this battle was decided before it even started."
