Overlords Hierarchy & Power Ranking: The Elites of Hazbin Hotel Explained! 

Deep, I have a question for you: where do you find all that information on sacred texts etc. to speak on a theological level of the probable Lore of Hazbin and Helluva? What sites, pages, etc. do you use?

In many sources of demonology Lucifer is said to have hated humans and blames them for his fall, so I found and it interesting that in the Hazbinverse that Lucifer doesn't seem to mind sinners gaining power as overlords. I suppose if him, his wife and daughter maintain the status quo he wouldn't see them as a threat whatsoever and possibly finds their desperate attempts of grasping power amusing and a boost to his ego since no matter how powerful a sinner becomes he will always be superior to them...

The Overlords of Hell really intrigued me especially on how powerful they really are. Maybe we'll find out who is the most powerful Overlord once the show comes out even though we saw how powerful Alastor is.

Which overlord are you most curious about, and What theory or lore video should we tackle next?

Husk and Niffty are also shown as shadows next to Alastor. Either they are powerful enough to be near-overlords which I doubt. Or Alastor can quite literally control them and owns them, which is why he can specifically teleport both of them to him

If you look closely, you can see a very small cyclops near Alastor at the bottom, it's a very much Blink and you'll miss it, you can also just barely make out Husk behind Alastor's shoulders. Could this mean, these two hold more power than originally thought hence Alastor's interest in these two in particular

Whenever modern technology interacts with Alastor it glitches (shown in preview and in the past instagram posts). I think he does this on purpose because of Vox and it maybe shows he is more powerful than Vox, too.

It's my personal belief that if Allistor was weaker than all three v's combined they could kill or contain him. The fact that they haven't points to him being incredibly powerful

I would Absolutely love to see the other Overlords of Hell in *Hazbin Hotel* soon. They've always intrigued me, especially on the account of how powerful they all really are. Someday we'll all get to see and find out which one of them is the Most Powerful Overlord there is in the show. We all saw how Incredibly Scary and Powerful Alastor is in the show. As soon as the Full Fledged Adulterated Television Series of *Hazbin Hotel* comes out, we'll all see who'll come out on top.

With how powerful some sinners can become naturally, do you guys believe the reason lucifer keeps them in pride is because they could wreak havoc to the lower circles' hierarchy?

I am thinking about why Alastor said Vox is just hiding behind the other Vs and if he wouldn't be as powerful without them. So they need to rely on eachother or they would all be pretty darn weak? That makes them bound together, even if the y didn't like each other so much, what I think of as really interesting. They seem to scold eachother permanently and bitching about the others. Like Velvet said "your little boy toy" about Valentino, and Valentino and Velvet laughing, when Vox looses against Alastor? I'm pretty curious how that goes on!

The three Vs as a family would mean if one was attacked the others would defend them which could happen with Alastor and vox fighting

Camilla is a character from Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the light. She is said to be Lucifer's right-hand and the person who is in charge of all weapon dealings in hell and even a fallen angel like Lucifer.

I think Alastor can control the signal i.e. Wi-Fi and T.V, Because the three Vs use that to hold there respective platform, he has control over them and possibly the power they hold he keeps them around as entertainment as he knows they can't really hurt them and if he gets "killed" they them self's would have to deal with there being no signal until he's back

I don't really buy Angel being ignorent about Alastor. Particularly since while he works for Valentino, he would be familiar with Vox or Velvette by proxy. So while the purpose of Angel asking about Alastor was for us as the viewer to be brought up to speed about who this guy is. Angel may have been wanting to hedge he knew about Alastor with what Vaggie knew so he didn't inadvertantly reveal anything that could lead to questions about who he was associated with.

There’s still beings that ranked above overlords but everyone only cares about there power level

If I remember correctly from the discussions I sat in on, the Overlords at the top of hierarchy are, Missi Zilla (Owner of Klub Kaiju), Morde (industry tycoon), Camille (?), and the Von Eldritch's. I believe that is still the case as those top 3 spent the Extermination in the company of Lucifer as seen in the pilot. However it's still subject to change. Roo, however, is someone you're gonna be interested in...

Rosie's partner was assassinated by hit demons hired by rosie and contracted thru someone I forget who, but the message is one one of the hit demons phones in a shot, right before they walk away from the dead demon and a bunch of small demons jump on the corpse to eat it. . The killed him with a angelic spear and used the cleansing as a cover.

I don’t think Alistor is below Vox in power scaling as it’s shown in both the comix and promos that the two have a Childish rivalry with each other. The two are probably even with the unknown factor being the scope of Alistors voodoo and Eldrich magic

I think a neat video topic would be genres of music associated with each of the Seven princes of Hell (including Lucifer) and how they reflect their personalities and such.

I love Alastor so much even though I barely know anything about him. My ADHD won’t tell me why it likes things it just does but I’m assuming it’s because he was based off a Wendigo and I like them. Also considering that radios are staticky and tend to lag it would kind of make sense that Vox couldn’t access them just like how we need special equipment to use old electronics today such as record players. This just my speculation and could be wrong but would kinda make sense

Idc, alastor solos all overlords in a 1v1

What if the Overlord Map does purposely place Alastor at the bottom for the same reason Val and Velvet are, they get their powers from someone else. Valentino and Velvet could get their power taken away by Vox at any moment, placing them at the bottom. Husker also mentions that Alastor is "on a leash too" so I think that Al could get his powers taken from him placing him at the bottom. The show also mentions that Al ALMOST beat Vox so I also think that whoever Alastor belongs to, took his powers temporarily because his trust in them was fading. It's just a fun theory though!😊

One I can not wait to see is Rosie especially for her relationship with Alastor Most people ship the two but I love the more friends relationship they have If Rosie is a hellborn I think it would be interesting to hear her story Maybe she saw as Alastor brought down the original overlords (the hellborns) if she did maybe that’s how she met him. Maybe he helped her get to power. They are said to have a Jack and Mary Poppins relationship. this being one of my favorite movies and duos ya I’m excited Also I’m interested in Sir Pentious While yes he is not an Overlord it seems he wants to be one He died somewhere around 1888 I believe so he would have been there before Alastor and saw what Alastor did (if he’s been trying to be an overlord for that long that’s just sad-) we know the legend of Alastor but that’s just it a Legend Some things said could be made up So hearing it from someone who was actually there would be interesting And of Course I’m excited for the 3 V’s Two of them (Velvette and Vox) have been an interest for me for a long time While yes all of the 3 V’s have not got a speaking role yet Val has been animated more than a quick scene in the pilot I can’t wait to see Vox and Al enemy relationship and to see how the 3 V’s work together If the whole family situation (where Vox and Val see Velvette as a daughter) is still canon I’m excited to see how it works (especially since we know about Val abusive behavior) Anyway that’s it for my rant Great video btw! The bird overlords intrigue me. Could they perhaps be related to the Goetia? it would be neat to learn more about them. I know we probably aren't going to be seeing any of the characters from Helluva in Hazbin but that doesn't mean we could learn more about the culture or species to which those characters belong.

Next year we already waited for 4 years already, how many years we have to wait.

Vox is on a similar level as Alastor because they’ve fought and alastor won barely, Valentino and velvet are Vox’s partners but are still no match for the higher overlords.

Now with the second episode of show released, we know that Vox is the strongest out of three V's and Alastor is stronger than Vox. Also in 5th episode Mimzy said that Alastor started with Overlords and killed many of big timers who controled hell. Also Alastor seems, like the most confident overlord among them all, so i suppose he is not so weak compared to much more ancient demons that are capable of killing angels

It's my understanding that those two bird demons below Vox were later combined into the character we now now as Stolas in Helluva Boss. I seriously doubt either of these birds will exist in Canon Hazbin.

Not sure if already had this idea or if you’ve said, but where alastor’s voodoo thing may come from was because of where he was from. He was said to be form New Orleans (?), and there, voodoo is a sort of big thing there and where lots of voodoo related things are said to originate. So maybe his power of voodoo just simply comes from where he was born and raised.

Man we only got a glimpse of the power and looks of the Overlords in The Pilot, and with the sereis currently on hold i wonder who else is one, i thing that bright green haired lady on top is the same girl from that monster bar when Charlie is giving her speech on the hotel on 666 news and man her fanon name is Miss Zilla and man her deisgn is crazy cool!!

I still hope we'll see some sort of easter eggs from the OG comic that kinda started Hazbin- Zoophobia. Seeing Damian or Major Styx and Tentadora. Though that feels so far and away now considering we've got no telling if Satan is the same.

Both vox and velvette have signed a contract with Valentino, tying their souls to him just as he did with angel dust. Vox’s contract probably gives him a bit less freedom compared to velvette since he could be considered a bigger threat to Val’s position.

I find it weird how Alastars eyes look almost like one of those kitchen timers, whereas with his powers not JUST as the Radio demon but also potentially the Voodoo demon grows increasingly as time goes on.

The soul contracts and deals that demon Overlords make could grant them more power although they’d still be overpowered by Hell’s royalty and angels.

I really hope to see that hellborn demons can become overlords in Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, Characters like Rosie, as well as the blue flamed skull overlord, whom I don't think is the same as the other demon who appeared next to Alastor when he watched Charlie's interview in the pilot, mainly because of the different antlers and chest shape, they also bore a slight resemblance to a flaming skeleton in the "Dirty Healings" prequel comic (second to last page), though sans the antlers, skull fracture and with different coloured flames. Having hellborns become overlords gives the whole worldbuilding a boost as the social structure becomes more dynamic through it, not just because it allows hellborns to gain more power, but it allows for Overlords to appear in other circles than the Pride Ring, which sinners can't leave (though we don't know if sinner overlords can leave the Pride Ring as an additional perk). It also gives the opportunity for Helluva boss characters like Crimson and Verosika to potentially rise up in rank, either through money, fame or influence. It would be interesting to see if an overlord over cinema/movies would be subservient to Vox, as cinema predates television by several decades, and thus likely would already be established in hell and could act independently from that medium. That theoretical overlord would however likely have an alliance with Vox of sorts to capitalize on each others' field. On the subject of Rosie, I would really like to see the arguments for her power estimate (2-3) means that she's near the top as opposed to the bottom of the hierachy.

Came back to this to see how good of theories they were now we got some episodes. Think it's safe to say that alaster is up in the overlord ranks. Given how he plays vox like a fiddle. 😂

I’m so thankful that Hazbin Hotel was delayed for one year and not cancelled. If we can wait 10 years for Rune Factory 5 to come out, then we can wait a year for Hazbin Hotel.

I really wanna see a knight character, maybe a king or knight who died during the past wars. Like someone from the War of the Roses, or a Templar. Would be really cool.

Depending on how far the writers take the concept of "radio", Alilstor could be nearly limitless in power. Radio waves are at their base, energy waves encoded with data. Which would expand his domain to everything including literal light, and every form of wireless (and possibly even wired if we lump in AC power and switched frequency encoding) communication and energy. After all, what good is a screen like Vox without the data being sent to it? What good is Adult entertainment if there's no sound and now way to display it?

Being the closest to Lucifer, I have a feeling that those 3 overlords share the same feelings on doubt and not support the "Happy Hotel" idea by Charlie potentially being an antagonistic force Charlie and her friends have to deal with.

Hi, I have a little question here. I just noticed when robofizz got burned down with LooLoo land, his horns were revealed to be female imp horns. Correct me if I'm wrong but female imp horns are black with white lines as strips, and male imps have a thicker white line as strips on their horns. However on robofizz, his horns appeared to be female imp horns. Is that only for the plot of robofizz was originally meant to be a sex toy? Or are there other detailed lore running into it?
