@@Pcr06 Very few people don't speak any english here as it has been a part of the learning plan for many decades. My grandma is 94 and she spoke it. Speaking as a guy in a rural village in sweden :)
I never used youtube for anything except music until I stumbled across Simon Wilson's channel. Ive had a premium subscription to youtube for years and had no idea the range of travel channels. Thx simon still my favorite channel
I love how Simon is the type of guy that does not insult people for having an Android since he uses one himself... love you man, keep doing what you are doing.
As me being a deep Smålänning, i feel alot compelled about when you're talking about IKEA (Kungens Kurva) in Stockholm and saying it's the Original..... IKEA in Älmhult is the REAL Original One! :)
Magpie Channel best Channel on RU-vid.. travel yourself it’s the best way.. I’ve done, Paris twice, Copenhagen Vienna Madrid Barcelona Milan Rome and Hamburg in the last two years alone. Toon toon!!
@@willtoon88cat thanks for that mate appreciate it! Wow, that's class, done a fair bit then! I've travelled Europe with mates and asia with my ex but I reckon you get the full experience alone. Up the mags!
Can't be the only one, literally dying to see Simon's no money challenge in Stockholm. Been binging his channel and i cant wait to travel in 2021 (hopefully)
Thats not the first IKEA, the original store is located in Älmhult where they now have an IKEA museum, an IKEA hotel, an IKEA store, IKEA financed schools etc.
lol it’s becazse london hacks is uploading the Sweden uploads on his channel, so that’s why he hasn’t uploaded in a long time because his friend is with him and he uploading
I live in Sweden and here you barely ever see people wearing masks or social distancing. You would think that more would wear when we have 6600+ deaths that increase daily while our neighbour countries have been stuck at 200-300 total lol. Alot of people here are dumb but tbh our ignorant government is alot to blame for the lack of use cause they completely ignored doing anything to protect us from the virus and still barely do so alot of people dont see it as a threat either.
In Sweden (because of Coronavirus), buses are free at the moment to go anywhere. Trains (Metro) + Trams have a 75min window to use via the SL app, or the SL Access card. Touch in, travel anywhere up to 75 mins, no need to touch out. One set price (37kr I think) You can get singles, 7 days, 30 day passes. Would def recommend the IceBar Stockholm, Gamla Stan (Old Town), Royal Gardens, ABBA Museum :) Enjoy your time here :)
You are so underrated! YOU ARE A TRUE LEGEND. I’ll tell you something, you are the ONLY vlogger who I enjoy watching and I think you are doing AMAZING! Keep uploading because you will be so popular in a few years. This is the amount of people who love it when you upload 👇
Love this Simon! Thank you so much brightening my day, feeling really down about lockdown and you’ve definitely cheered me up (that plane hotel was amazing!) . Can’t wait for the no money challenge 🙌😃
The average Scandinavian citizen speak 3 languages, have published 1 book and have a post degree. In my country it's a miracle find someone who finished the highshcool
A tip for you Simon. You've said in multiple videos that you need to change your diet. Start slow and do these 3 things. Try to eat as little fast food as possible, stop drinking sweet drinks and pick one dish where you can put on ketchup. That's it.. You dont need a gym, you dont need any special diets or anything like that. Love your videos
@@CallieMasters5000 I haven't been on any buses in Stockholm this year so it might be a bit different but where I am in Sweden you can usually pay the driver as you get on but right now they've closed off the area where the driver sits like the bus that Simon got on. Instead you're expected to buy a ticket using their mobile app but so far I've never seen anyone check these tickets as I think that would defeat the purpose of having you keep your distance from the driver if someone comes right up close to check your ticket...
Sweden cannot go in to lockdown due to our constitution. It states: "Section 8 Everyone is protected against deprivation of liberty in relation to the general public. Anyone who is a Swedish citizen is also otherwise guaranteed freedom to move within the country and to leave it. Act (2010: 1408)." Fredrik mentioned there is not allowed more than 8 people in a restaurant, this is false - it is actually not allowed more than 8 people per table and 8 people per social event gatherings. Although, a restaurant is allowed more than 8 people at a time as long as distance is kept between each gathering. You should go to Stora Hotellet in Umeå. Steampunk themed hotel. Or just visit Gothenburg, would personally say it is nicer than Stockholm. Really fun seeing you here in Sweden!
But if they caught you. It´s a fine of 150 euro. So it´s not free. The bus companys relys of the passengers. Thats how Swedens whole strategy works in this Corona time. To rely on the people. Thats why we never have a lock down. The only country in all Europe. And now some countries is follow Swedens strategy. And So. The bus is not for free. Just because you don´t have to pay for it. It don´t means it´s for free. It´s like seeing a unlocked bicycle. It´s not for free just because it´s unlocked. Keep up your good work. Thx for great videos.
Haha..What a great video this one is! Love it. Good to see you vlogging again! Both the Ikea and the 747 Hotel are great travel adventures for us to see!! Maybe the Swedish meatballs are still in your future! I am interested in that phone, will have to rewatch for the details. Thanks Simon for this one! (Rob Allen and Family in Thailand)😊😎😊👍👍👍
