Overnight In A Remote Scottish Bothy

In todays video we head out from Kinlochleven for an overnight in a remote bothy in driving rain, high winds and glorious sunshine.
The hike to the bothy took us 4 hours 30 mins and we climbed to an altitude of 400m covering 8 miles.
We had Banter,Beer,Whisky,wine and one of the best lamb curries I've ever tasted.
This hike to the bothy has some amazing waterfalls and stunning views into Glencoe.

How is the bothy heated ? Do you bring fire logs? I think I do not like you all (lool) Blood or black pudding, my very favorite !! Can not buy here in Yukon Canada. But a Scots and Irish girl from Nova Scotia Canada.. Brought up on blood pudding and cornbeef hash.

Hi Cindy. Most bothys have a wood burning stove, some provide fire wood some don't, it's always good practice to carry in some fire logs,and sometimes the person before you has left some for the next person, black pudding is amazing and and always available in Scotland.
