I find that the oats are kinda chalky if you use cold water and put it straight into the fridge, so I usually put hot water with my oats then put it in the fridge. The texture comes out so much better! (:
I absolutely love your channel! I've been trying to get back into eating healthier and getting back on track with my weight loss goals and you definitely have been inspiring me lately! You make such easy to follow recipes and project such a realistic approach to healthy living that could fit any lifestyle. I also love the way you edit your videos! xoxo
I get what you mean by "sugar free" but you probably should call it 'No sugar added' instead. For people who dont understand, theres sugar in the fruit, so if you have diabetes or you are on a low carb diet or a diet that limits even natural sugars, just skip any fruits (including rasins)
lemme tell you, this taste so good that when im making this at night, it almost become my another dinner instead of for breakfast. Now im excited to get up in the morning and have this for my breakfast
I'm still learning english, so I was wondering if you really can say 'a smashed banana'. I had to laugh so hard, it's just a funny thought that you're standing in the kitchen, smashing a banana xD
Claudia Martina smashed potatoes is a thing! It’s when u roast them then sorta smush them a bit then roast them more , it’s dine with baby potatoes, I’m not kidding,
Peanut butter-raisin made me love overnight oats! Actually, I'm looking forward to having them every morning, which is a good motive to wake up earlier😊
I am absolutely in love with your videos! I really love how you put whole foods in all the recipes and they're really easy to make and not like "i'm going to use chocolate and vanilla protein powder and yeast and idk what other protein stuff but you gotta have them to recreate this recipe and i know they're expensive and if you don't have them the recipe is useless but oh man"
I've been debating making these since I eat oatmeal most mornings anyway. I might experiment tonight and see if my husband would eat it too since he wakes up at 5 for his training.
THIS is just amazing!! I have much more energy in the morning with this breakfast !! Its so good when I need to stay focus in school for example. Thank you
Hey I noticed that the majority of your meals are very whole food plant based. How often do you incorporate meat into your diet? I am 90% vegetarian but I do eat meat when I visit friends or family if I don't have the option to pack my own lunch or if it would be considered rude.
I once tried overnight oats with yogurt and I threw them out cause I didn't like them at all. I love hot oatmeal with fruit like your frozen blueberry oatmeal I tried was delicious. This morning I tried your overnight oats recipe with frozen berries and then I added 30 grams of banana and a tablespoon of fruit spread. It's so good I never liked overnight oats now I do thank you so much your recipes are sooo amazing.
Hello y'all. I'm wondering how long are they good to go? Do you think it's ok to make 5 of them in the beginning of the week for each day? Btw I read some comments about heating them up in the morning, I think it'd be tasty but for the ones who are using honey; as far as I know, heating the honey up is corrupting the honey's chemical build up so it's not really a good idea. Just a tip! :) (I'd be more than grateful if you'd answer my question :))
Love your flavor combinations. You might try doing lacto-fermented overnight oats for some beneficial bacteria in your gut. You can keep your basic recipe the same but add one tablespoon of yogurt or kefir and leave the jar on the counter covered with a cloth overnight. In the morning your oats will be teaming with probiotics and your grains will be more easily absorbed by your body. Fermenting oats is a fantastic idea.
hi liezl Jayne, I loved the video, and the recipes looks delicious. unfortunately I couldn't find chea seeds, so I have been wondering if I could replace it with some thing else, or I can just use oats. thank you.
thank you so much for the third recipe of this video, I tried it this morning and Im pretty sure I will eat it every morning for the rest of my life it's so deliciouuus ! Kisses from France 😘
Great Video! I kept getting frustrated when you missed an oat and a raisin in the second recipe and you didn't mix the milk at the end all the way. XDD It's a pet peeve of mines, so no hate there. (: I love your videos and personality, really have me motivated to eat healthier!!
Sugar free? I thought you misspoke at first and meant no added sugar, but then you proceed to add maple syrup to all the recipes... Otherwise they look really yummy
Good work! Just discovered your channel the other day when I googled "I hate counting calories with the passion of 10,000 suns". I'm so glad I was pissed off enough to do that!
Thanks for the easy ideas for healthy recipes. I do these types of things already but am looking for a twist. My wife has started to enjoy them as well. I've lost 30 lbs and need to get another 5 off. Eating right with cycling 2-3 times a week has been the plan that works for me.
I tried the blueberry one with instant oat and it was not a very good idea as it ended up being very mushy (but still very good ;) ) I'm gonna look for rolled oat because I want to try all of them !
Is there a way to eat it warm? I love the combination of ingredients you use and the 'overnight' preparation but I dont like cold oatmeal. Can I microwave this in the morning?
Everything is great except for the syrup, I recommend Monk fruit for everyone to try there is no sugar at all in it and it’s one for one meaning 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of Monk fruit is the same thing good luck and God bless
this is delicious! highly recommend trying out these especially the blueberry lemon I personally didn't add the lemon and I didn't have maple sugar so I added natural honey and vanilla extract this is amazing !
Nice, I have a heck lot of instant oats so I had to use it... but I can’t leave it overnight or else it’s gonna be too mushy and weird. So what I do is I mix the ingredients first thing in the morning, then I let it soak while I’m preparing myself ( dress up etc.) then 20 mins should pass and the oats are ready!
Liezl!! you were the reason why i dropped 7-8 kgs of empty weight!! and now im just bulking muscle and cutting fat!! You are so amazing, I followed you then, I will definitely follow you now ❤️
you are so pretty and also make delicious food! I love your videos!! I love inspiration stories, I also lost about 50 lbs and now I just want to maintain it :) your videos, among others, make it fun!
