If you have enough experience in the game..shit in really any ARPGS in general you can tell just by feel how strong builds are gonna be every in early “mapping”. This feels way stronger than falconer / warlock did at this stage, not counting bug exploiting builds.

​@@Mdntech3000 this build looks promising from what you are showcasing but you really cant tell how it will perform in empowered monoliths compared to other VK builds, at least i cant from what ive seen in this video. I hope you keep this build updated and show an endgame version. and please dont say OVERPOWERED BUILD when you are just barely clearing 150 corruption (in the future)

@@Mdntech3000 No, you can't just "eye-measure" it and say it's one of the strongest. That's disingenuous and u can't really tell what problems a build might have until you actually place it in that environment where it begins to struggle. If u do low lvl content, u one-shot everything, u're not gonna see what needs to be optimized in the build. And this is coming from someone with 2k hours in grimdawn, 5k hrs in D3, 7k hrs in PoE and over 1k hrs in Last Epoch....So yea, you're just baiting new players or inexperienced people.

@@Mdntech3000Having played with both a Falconer and Warlock at that stage, there isn't a comparison. Poison warlock especially doesn't even stop - You just charge around without stopping and once you've ran the map then turn around and loot.

Yea, everything I found on VK was hammer / smite but wanted to try something else...stumbled on this and feels good so far.

Yea really really damn smooth build..really close to being as enjoyable as my shaman / lock.

Yea this is the first time I’m trying a hammer void knight, my very first build was bleed hammers. Everything hammer void knight I’ve seen was just a hammer build that proc’ smites which I didn’t want to do. I thought I was gonna scale just one dot and then when I read the tooltip of future strike and realized it stacks I was like…wait this could be good. I know doom has 400 base dmg but is that where the CRAZY damage numbers are coming from? I honestly don’t know what the highest dmg is but this really feels way stronger than it should. Another note is that some void knight nodes like “additional void dmg to attacks” actually gets double dipped to hammer throw..the flat void dmg gets added to hammer throw once AND the Disintegrating Aura. I still have a lot to learn though lol!

It’s something to think about for sure, still have a lot to test out.

Yea it’s something I thought about doing but tried to avoid sigils. I stopped around 300 corruption due to vacation and gonna switch games soon.

Do you mean how I will end up leveling the tree or the full passives?

Could do this but str work increase any of our other dot dmg.

Survivability hasn’t been a problem for me at all and I’m at 200 corruption now. I think the big thing for me is have the 15 or so points into forge knight for all the extra armor.

Nice! The Doom / Time Rot / Future Strike / Dot Void Hammers seems like it has really solid potential!

Yea I don’t think this will have any problems. Over my days off gonna level another alt and push this a bit but with Sentinel/void knight defenses with massive leech should be a breeze tbh. Will update when I can.
