The DBS Altitude Card gives you Priority Pass membership which gives you 2 times of lounge access in 1 year. I went to the SATS Premier Lounge at Terminal 1 Changi Airport and this was the experience. Is the lounge access truly any good?

Priority pass lounge in Paris airport is depressing, nothing too eat, JFK a little better.. In general lounges are pretty good in Asia, Singapore airport is one of the best

The priority pass lounges are just a bonus in my opinion. If you are flying economy or budget, it’s an additional perk but that’s it. If you’re flying business or first class, most airports will provide you a complimentary pass to get free access to their business or first class lounges, which is a huge step up from the basic PP lounges.

You're right in saying for normal travelers, in most Asia airport, its does not seem worth it. As modern airports esp. in asia have plenty of better and even amazing food option at "normal" prices. So why go to the lounge esp. one that has limited or poor choices. However, i tend to use my free lounge access whenever i travel to Europe. For some reasons, the airport still operates like in the 90s where food prices in the airport is highly inflated. So for example, i use the lounge in Frankfurt airport. Yes, the food choices were not fantastic, but having a simple meal of sandwich and drinks there, saved me 15euros (for similar sandwich and drinks purchased at the airport).

I am also disappointed with T3 SATS Premier Lounge recently. Not much to eat. On return trip, I tried th Copenhagen SAS Lounge and it was excellent with cafe serving and lot of serving. Will try the Krisflyer lounge next time and see what’s the difference. Priority pass access is USD35. I would said lounges are for long overlay waiting for connecting flights.

@@ngsy8193 no time limit. You can stay there as long as you like. Recently I tried the Krisflyer Lounge for Business Class and it was a much better than SATS Premier Lounge. The spread of foods are many and excellent toilets and bathroom as well.
