Hi @jobanjeetsingh8826 The Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) website is best to look for information and updates as they regulate ODPs. See some current information below but it can change so you need to check for updates. Also HCPC do not stipulate you need this level to get on register they leave it with employers so you can check with individual employers. However below is the level they may ask for. 7.2 Communicate in English to the required standard for their profession (equivalent to level 7 of the International English Language Testing System, with no element below 6.5*) *The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) tests competence in the English language. Applicants who have qualified outside of the UK, whose first language is not English and who are not applying through the Swiss Mutual Recognition Route (SMR) must provide evidence that they have reached the necessary standard. More information is available here: Statement on English language proficiency requirements for internationally trained health and care professionals. Link: www.hcpc-uk.org/standards/standards-of-proficiency/operating-department-practitioners/ I hope this helps.

I can register both in nmc and hcpc. Which one is better for a nurse? Registering in nmc is much more difficult. What advantage does nmc have after registration compared to hcpc? Is a nurse who registers in the hcpc considered for the group tire 2 visa?

If you want to become a UK Registered Nurse you need to register with the NMC. HCPC is for Operational Department Practitioner (ODP) role, which is a different role and not a nursing role. I hope that helps.

You would need to check on current goverment guidelines for tiers, but you cannot register as Registered Nurse without NMC registration in UK. You can contact NMC helpline for advice too.

@@abdolazimyousefi3930 See NMC guidance, you can currently do OET @home in your home country. However, make sure it is a reputable agency/company you go through, see NMC advice below: www.nmc.org.uk/registration/joining-the-register/english-language-requirements/accepted-english-language-tests/#:~:text=We%20will%20accept%20an%20OET,%2C%20and%20the%20OET%40Home.
