In today’s China 101 with Matt, I give you my personal review of the Canton Fair. Once the largest trade fair in the world and now one of the largest, the Canton Fair is a place to meet Chinese manufacturers in order to bring your product to life. I have been coming to the Canton Fair for 10 years, and give you my insights into how it has benefited me, why people go, some of the changes in the fair over the years and some tid bits if you plan to go yourself.

Oh wow, simplicity all around. China should consider using your China 101 vlog for the Canton Fair as an introduction for all of us foreigners around the world to see. My husband and I would really enjoy something like that. Great vlog Matt! 👏👏👏

Hi! I'm from Mexico. I've been importing sports apparel for 2 years from China. Last week I was going to travel to Canton to meet my supplier and visit the Canton Fair. But I had a problem on LAX Airport and missed my flight and couldn't take another. So I was sad and upset, it was going to be my first travel to China, and then I found your videos! Your videos made me happy again and hoping to reschedule my flights, also you showed me what to expect and prepared me better for that adventure. Thank you! Awesome video!

before china economy reform , Canton Fair was the only door enter China for import/export business.

find out what products your looking for. then contact a factory on the list of the canton fair booths.. tell them you would like to visit them and ask for an invitation letter...

you have to buy a tag... you can do it once.. and use it for multiple years.. but its about 300 RMB to get the tag.

yea.. i guess... there are a few shows in the area.. all around.. those dont have a cost... maybe you can check them out. all walking distance.

No...it is for lifetime, so you use the tag for every canton fair, and if you loose it, it cost more for re-registration...so keep it, and bring it whenever you visit canton fair FOR FREE...
