Me and my friend, both in silver at highest and high bronze on our worst roles, get 25 minute queue times why queueing for every role. It sucks

@@inherentlyflawed I was g4 and my highest teammate was p3 still had a 33 minute queue with no games found. It’s 2pm on a Saturday PsT. It’s fucking 420 if I can’t find a wide match rn how the fuck am I gonna find one any other time.

I will try to explain it to the best of my ability - essentially now anyone from any rank can group together. so if, for example, you're silver, another friend is diamond and another friend is masters, you can play together and the game will try and put you into a queue with other wide groups as it isn't very fair to solo players to have to got against masters in a gold lobby. the thing is, if you're in a wide group, depending on the how many people are in the group, your rank progress will barely change. tbh I'm not a fan of the whole wide group thing, I'm just an average solo plat player and the other day I went against a 3 stack with 2 of them being master players

when your group’s individual ranks are not close enough(like having a silver 3 support with an plat 1) it turns into a wide match where it matchmaking to other wide groups but since almost any rank can fit into a wide match, it takes longer than a narrow group(similar ranks)to find a match.

its an additional barrier to recognition

@@dentylad_plays7159 because then you can get targetted, streamsniped, get hit with generally more obnoxious behavior, etc etc. streamers generally go in for a normal experience, one they were ready for

yeah I've been grinding tracer only since season 9 and pretty much this... least stressful role on the planet
