And Mauga. Mauga is just so boring... I'm a Hog frequenter, and I'll admit he should never be meta because he's low skill. But Orisa and Mauga are even lower skill AND they're boring to play. Especially Mauga. They have no business being anywhere close to meta, yet here we are.

When Flats mentioned the team Avoided at the beginning, they turned into Aww Yeah. It still has many of the same people on the team. Chazm, the ball player, was a ball one trick on Avoided who literally went by the name "Ball" for a while.

And before that Tracer Echo, and before that Tracer Genji. I'm sensing a pattern.....

@@mattevans4377 i was more ok with tracer gengi, cause the comp sorta forces a team to play pure dive, which is so fun to both play and watch. Tracer echo was iffy, but tracer sojurn i just despise. The comp gets to do whatever you want it to be. Wanna be more brawly? Go orisa + moira. You wanna be a bit more dive? Run lucio kiri, and a tank with some mobility (since soj’s slide and range lets her basically be a dive hero if you wanted). You wanna bunker up/ poke? Tracer weirdly has the range to do it/ can break bunkers, so run an orisa + bap + kiri. The dps core is so flexible, it just lets you slot it into wherever you want it to be slotted into.

@@mattevans4377 very true. I agree there. I also wanna see soj nerfed into the ground. She has never been bad in ow2, just maybe not hard meta at times (but has been hard meta a few times and no one had fun)

Him and blackswordz are the two best Hog one tricks. Maybe there's one in Asia I don't know of but those guys are always towards the top of the ladder

they also just played brute dps output overal. tracer was the weakest on that front relatively speaking. the moment vice messed up like when the kiri fed the overwhelming force just pushed them back immediately. so like it seems they really forced them to keep an eye on hog and bastion while keeping the flanks in mind in hopes this would cause enough mayhem to cause them to make mistakes. the fact that this was a very unconventional approach and comp just helped them further. straight up amazing

I tell people that and my team gets mad at me because I'm not protecting them as doom in getting kills and taking space I'm able to sometimes save my team but that's if you position your self so I can easily help you

@@ballisticbullet428 Yeah I’m guessing you’re in low rank (below master) and what ppl don’t understand is that even though you could swap they could also adapt to you and output a team play to make your pick work. Ppl are just dumb overall. When it gets to something more complex than shooting what you see you loose 80% of them already 😂

@@ballisticbullet428 so you're relying on your team to fully adapt to you. going after the team is one of the ways to counter doom. a good doom player recognizes this and doesn't try to push the standard playstyle when it isn't working. one tricking doesn't mean you get to ignore countering. you just have to learn to counter with doom instead of counter swapping

@@PrimeKeroHS thats just not true of course there are always counters to what youre playing but those character pratically counter half the roster just by existing anyone like mei or sombra who take away your ability to fight back will always feel bad in an ability shooter

I don't hate one tricks. I hate one tricks that don't adjust their playstyle. you can see hog here playing differently against the different comps. one tricking a hero is viable, one tricking a single strategy is not.

I miss when I could just do what I want playing Overwatch, its so much less enjoyable now :/

My favorite character is the reaper guy. he is very powerfull. special move, honestly is one of the best in the game and so he comes equipped with these two revolvers and only takes about 3 or 4 shots to actually execute a kill so it comes really in handy specially when you come from the side.

Some characters have combo's that are part of their kit. Think Roadhog's 1 shot hook combo.

@@GeoffronXit’s shotguns, his ult is nowhere near the best in the game. everything counters it. dva defense matrix, sigma rock, ana sleep, sigma can also absorb it, widow can easily headshot snipe you because you can’t really move when popping it. reaper q is really only viable in low ranks because low ranked players aren’t smart enough to look for it. anything past plat and you’re getting sat down the moment you even THINK about pressing Q.

I mean when you’re among the best players in the world and on a team of other top players while everyone is communicating at the highest level, it’s a lot easier to make anything 18:12 work than it would be in slightly above average ranked games where it’s basically a free for all lmao
