Sty, you said that you were expecting silver and Bronze players to not be able to play. However, the majority of us just played badly in season 2, and now because of the broken placement games, we're good players stuck at low ranks because we used to be bad.

I would suggest looking over the video before you talk about. Take notes on things he/she did well or poorly. So you can say "coming up you get yourself out of position." or "Here in the next few seconds you should have ult'd because..." That way its more of a discussion than a reaction. Edit: Otherwise I am loving it so far!

I really have to start talking to people more :c I usually talk when someone else starts talking. And I think I'm way ore shy when playing with friends (talking on discord), and when I start talking on team chat, I'm muting myself on discord (different languages), but kind of unfortunately my friends usually have team chat turned off. On he other hand it's better for me, because I dunno why, but when I'm playing solo/my friends can't hear me talking in English, I feel way better than when they could hear me ;d

I really like this new way of doing Over Analysed but I think a good addition would be if you paused the video were they got the positioning wrong and say we're they should be standing or who they should be focusing down Not trying to make this feel forced but the more info the better

I was thinking that too, another youtuber named "Skyline" has done this while analysing pro games, really made it super easy to both understand and comprehend. Overwatch is a fast game so when there is a lot happening, its not always the viewers spot it all :)

The problem with voice chat in gold and ranks below that is that usually people don't even bother to join them. The game is so much more enjoyable when you communicate and have that little banter as you said. Also writing to the chat is so annoying, yet I must do it. At least my writing speed has improved form about 80wpm to like 120wpm lol

memeologist i dunno i've been looking at my stats but apparently i have been doing good but i feel i just cant play properly. Back then i could play genji extremely well and now everytime i play him i cant do shit thats why im playing other heroes that i can at least do something. Good job at coaching. However the only 2 things that are problematic are accuracy and POSITION. It was so frickin stupid ranking up as main bastion (that is all about position and awarness) in silver and gold. Even in platinum right now it's pretty easy if the team support me (at the moment if the team doesn't support me i change). POSITION guys.

Stichschnake zenyatta is a great hero! hes not the best healer. should never solo support with him. because he heal only 30 hp per second. his discord orb makes an enemy take 30% more damage from everything, crippling them. on tanks he can negate their high health advantage zenyatta also does around 46 damage a hit, headshots included. he can easily out damage and defeat an attacker in a 1v1. he can also deal alot of damage just by shooting easily gaining ult charge. works really well with any healer, even a 76 can work!

I disagree with the fact that the zen alternate fire was lucky. As a zen I use my alternate fire regularly to deal with close combat, and regularly kill genjis and tracers with it, being fairly accurate with it.

His use of Alt fire was fine, he only used it when he saw the enemy was going to wait a bit then come out of cover. That's what the charge orbs are for.

I've completely stalled at 1700 because there's always a few people on the team who just want to do their own thing without consideration of the team. It's really frustrating.

Players in silver are decent when it comes to aiming and mechanics but I see a lot of them play too wimpy. There will be games when a Winston is on the point in the enemy team for ages and no one on his team will realise he is soaking all this aggro for them to move up to him. They struggle with map awareness in general.

Basically rank boils down to this: if the placements put you below Platinum then good luck because 95% of your random team mates will be children. Once you get stuck in mid to low 2000's it's SUPER hard to escape no matter how well you play.

The communication here is incredible. In the Plat/Diamond border, you are lucky to find a toxic player. There are way too many players who just don't know what to do or who to play to counter heroes.

Microbyte It seriously depends. If the match just started then tilting because someone picks Hanzo or whoever is absolutely retarded. Now if the match is well under way and they aren't filling their role THEN is the time to ask for a switch.

Sty, one thing im missing is a bit editing of what the player is saying. Maybe you could have someone editing some of the things the player is saying (with text) in the background while you're talking? Like a side-thing that doesnt take up all of the screen. Best in this video: "Yeah kill that Torb, Yeah kill Mercy, RUNAWAY RUN AWAY!" All within 5 seconds.

I've played with much worse in diamond. Honestly, players have become more toxic and less intelligent as I've climbed higher. It's weird. 2.8k-3.3k is full of, while mechanically above average, arrogant and ignorant assholes who main dps heroes and blame every single mistake on someone else.

You had much lower expectations from silver players? Didn't you? There are a lot of ppl misplaced in silver, that have a great game sense, knowledge of the surroundings, strategy undesrtanding and comunication skills.Why are they still in silver? Because solo Q and trolls/leavers.

I was actually surprised when you suggested that he should keep focusing on Pharah instead of the Mercy that was healing her. Is there some sort of rule of thumb as to which to target? I remember one game, I was Soldier 76 at Volskaya on Pharah duty, and perhaps my aim was off that day, or perhaps she was just too far away at the time, but the Mercy was healing her just almost as quickly as I was damaging her. At what point do I go "OK, that Mercy has to go?"

Sty there's one thing you have to understand: shotcalling doesn't help at this level, no one listens to you. I'm sure this zen knew that everyone should focus on discorded enemies, but it wouldn't help at all if he said that to his team. His teammates would just rage

you should honestly do more of these analyse videos and less opinion based videos i think. Not that your opinion based videos are bad or anything, but they often just lead to the same conclusions just with different arguments and can be rather repetitive whereas analysing gameplay is really interesting for players like me that try to learn more about this game. Obviously discussing new game content or general news about overwatch is also more interesting to me personally.

I could be totally in the wrong here, considering that I'm at about this SR too, but doesn't it make sense to pick off the healer if they're healing whoever you're trying to kill? I play Zen sometimes and I often do that when I'm trying to pick off a Rein and Mercy, a fairly easy target, is constantly healing him. Maybe Phara is different, because she also doesn't have a lot of health, but at least with tanks it makes sense to me.

Another reason why Zens ultimate is great against Soldiers ultimate: Soldiers viser locks onto Zen while hes ulting and Zen cant get damaged during that time
