Oh phonics batteries are the only batteries I use besides hrb I think they're the two best brands for the price level they're at very reliable batteries
Was excited to find a hands on review of the Ovonic. It's hard to find any definitive revies on the brand. Everyone seems to have a different experience. Perhaps with budget Chinese Lipo brands there is a certain level of inconsistency with quality control. My concern is that Ovonic are quite small profile and light in comparison to other brands. E.g. the small 2200aMh model in this video. How do they achieve this, if it's not simply an overstatement of the specs? I have read a number of reviews on RC forums saying the real world performance of the battery does not come close to the advertised specs. Honestly the review wasn't overly helpful. No real world stats or figures to compare. Customer service is important but real world evidence on performace, durability, resistance, aMh etc would be more useful than a customer service anecdote.
After having bought some ovonic Lipo's, I can say they are okay. The 2200mah cells have true ~2100mah. Thats okay for me. The 35C rating is totally not true. At 10C discharge the cell voltage drops down to 3.3V pretty fast and stays there consistently. These cells have a high energy density at cost of low discharge rates. So If you were looking for high C ratings, you wouldnt get the 35C or 50C anyway. Instead go for the 100C or 120C. I also tested some 1150mah 6S 100C ovonic Lipo's. They are also okay. Especially for the price. So if you want the best Lipo's, just pay the price for some tattu r line.
