Owl Lino print- cut out profile option 

This is part of a mini project introducing pupils to reduction lino printing. The image is an owl but it can be applied to other subject matter.
In this video I demonstrate an option to cut the lino around the shape of the owl rather than retain the rectangular profile of the lino block. It makes it less stable when using a bench hook so don’t try this if you are new to the process and working without a teacher.
In the next video I go onto demonstrate how to ink and print by hand or press.
