Owl lino print- transferring a design to lino 

This is part of a mini project introducing pupils to reduction lino printing. The image is an owl but it can be applied to other subject matter.
In this video I show you a range of methods to transfer your image to lino- free hand drawing, cut out and drawing round, tracing paper and carbon paper type transfer. I go onto over draw the image in permanent pen so the image won’t wash off when cleaning the lino between prints.
In the next video I go onto demonstrate cutting with a lino cutter.
