I have a 2009 with 41,000 miles on it. I bought it with 14,000 on it, drove it to work for a couple years and then retired. I have owned several of the predecessor cars, the 240z, 260z, 280z, 280zx, 300zx, fx45 and the the king of them all, the Fx50S. I love my car but sadly have to sell it to to disability. Thanks for your video.
I am sorry to hear about your disability. And wow, talk about low mileage!! Although mine has 150,000 miles on it, I barely drive it because I work from home. I have put maybe 25,000 on it in the 3 years I have owned it.
The Fx50 is timeless ….This was the peak of Infinity. Owner of a 2k10🎉 for 7 years and it makes me smile. I have 1 inch spacers on all corners. It made the stance kick more ass!! Give it a shot …it’ll put a smile on you face. I love them headlights, them are fire💯✌🏼.
I do have 25mm all around. Seems flush in the back, a little poke in the front. They say 25 rear and 15 front is the way to go. But I also bough the arch extenders (haven’t installed) so it will look pretty good whenever I do it.
The Fx's are timeless. I have a 2009 FX35, and I still smile everytime I drive it. Recently had to replace torn factory Rear differential bushing, dealer wanted 6K, I DIY'd it with the kit from Z1 for $100, plus toolkit. There are times when I wish the ride was smooth like before, but on acceration I love it even more!
That Infiniti OEM Aero (aerodynamic) kit gives the car a whole new look. It costed me quite a bit and it took a while to find all the OEM pieces and had to have some painted to match. Almost impossible to find the OEM pieces though. The aftermarket kits just came up short to me.
I still haven’t put on my front bumper or front aero. It’s been too hot but it’s finally cooling down so I’ll be able to complete this overhaul and update this page.
I have 2005(2nd generation)infiniti fx35. Still running without issues. Such a built by infiniti. I feel sad they have discontinue production of this amazing models. Most car makers have tried to copy but none compares. Amazing.
You need some mechanic friends that’s alooooot of money gone. Rear diff can be done and purchase from whiteline for $70. Solid mounts and have them pressed in. Everything else is waaay too much but great you got one
@@HardParking I’m going to get either a 2014 QX70 or a 2011 FX35 next week… you inspired me with the lights bro. Video is on point i rock w the camera quality
They aren’t really Nismo. They are OE offered for one or two of the later years I think. They seem to be called Nismo on like eBay and stuff but they are factory.
I did another video installing the headlights, the contact information is in that video description. You will need to open up the lights and do the install. If you are not comfortable doing that, there is usually someone in town that provides those services and in some cases, probably online as well. It’s a cool unique and refreshing but not TOO MUCH look.
Exactly. I just took it in to get that rear fixed too. Not sure I can feel a difference, I probably need near bushings all around and it’s not like these cars ride like clouds anyway.
Im enjoying my 09 fx50S, i watched your video prior to purchasing mines, (thanks for the help) 267k miles and so far brakes, tint, 26 inch wheels, and a radiator is all I've done...🙏🏿
@@montanamaxxamillion sorry, link in description of video where I am assembling the lights. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OzQAZsrpBuU.html
2009 fx35 owner w/209K ; 5th owner . car was well taken care of . major repairs since 1 yr of ownership - passenger front wheel bearing , radiator , and a getting a second key fob . future repair - front passenger window regulator possibly going out , driver heating/cooling seat doesn't work (turns on for 4 min then shuts off ) , no longer has the TPMS stems. Back arm rest strap missing , but able to bring it down with a wire hanger. Hoping to figure out a workaround. Overall , still happy with the purchase.
@@stasisthruchaos hi Brad. I searched as well and right now I’m only pulling up the black ones with red border. It’s that same brand. I would set a saved search for notification.
