Thìn Bệu fresh Beer - Now you can find Bia Hoi all over Ha Noi, but I had to try this place after I saw another Vietnamese food review mention how good the food was. So this place is pretty far from old quarter but worth the journey if you want a more relaxed setting with the locals. The tables are spread out, it's chilled out vibes, the owner was amazing, and the demographic seems to be more college ages kids. All in all, a great place to enjoy the afternoon/night with some really good food.

Cốc mang vào tráng rửa để rót bia,còn bia hơi HN tính tiền số lượng bia bằng đếm vạch trong hoá đơn để ở bàn.

I swear, I learn more about VN herbs listening to Max. There are so many different types I have a hard time remembering which is which. Amazed by Max's knowledge of food and the different ingredients. I love how two honest people interact, both you and the owner were so reluctant in accepting the other person's generous gesture. $10, freshly cooked meat, fresh vegetables, beers and ice tea ....... for 2 people !!! That's one McDonald fast meal here.

So fun to hear max`s southern viet trying to understand northen accent haha. My family is from Saigon, I live in Norway now. I got some friends with northen accent, if they talk normal speed, i cant understand them haha. Slooooooowly i do got a chance. Food in Hanoi is for sure different, but very interesting
