I just got a case of Ox. I want to spend the summer doing samples and book up a bunch of winter work. I’ll probably have a few that want it done ASAP and knock them out. But as hot as it gets down here I think it’ll be safer and more efficient to do in cooler weather.
Glad u listen to that inner voice That so important When I was younger I washed and painted hundreds hundreds of jobs I akways listen to my inner voice when climbing up high etc You do great craftsmanship work sir !! An inspiration to the younger generation out here
Gotta listen to instincts and your guardian angels, always trust the gut! Dang straight ox Knox has the gusto to kill that oxidation, I like gutter butter or cleansol bc, but hate brushing, lol. May have to try ox knox
Your videos are super relaxing, i don't know why exactly but everytime I put one on I am out like a light. No need for Ambien just a daily dose of your soothing videos and I sleep lke a baby lol
Joe, Amazon has these awesome 4 gallon battery powered backpack sprayers that shoot 25-30 feet and comes with a very nice gun with quick connects. I think that will be very useful for when you apply the Ox Nox. Anyway just wanted to let you know. I think it’s like 150-250 can’t remember what I paid for it but I use it often and lasts 3 hours continuously.
I have a potential project about the same size as that oxidized house. I’m not sure how to price it. I like how you priced out each side. That’s what I’m going to do. I’m stocked with ox-knox and ready to go!
Awesome demo JD. All properties are different and you may have to brush. I use cleansol and do it quite often. Common trouble spots are under the lips of each siding row because the chemical tends to drip away faster there which is why I use my extension brush and do half sections of each side. It goes pretty quickly but I would highly recommend brushing and a stronger pressure rinse. Regardless, great video
Like the way you roll, your prices on this are identical to mine. I like to be 1k to 1200 on a house that size with additional for roof or flat work. Some say I'm to high, way I see it, equipment is expensive, gas is expensive, my expertise is worth every penny. If I was working to barely get by, I'd go flip burgers, alot less headache. Good work! Keep it going
@@powerfulimprovements I've been washing for 25 years and am always hoping to learn something new. Thank you for your video. How many gallons of Ox-Knox did you go through for that house? Would you mind sharing in a PM how you charge for the oxidation removal? Thx
Hey Joe, thanks for this video I have a customers house I might be doing that has of oxidation and I was going to use this product. Did you end up downstreaming this whole house or used it in a sprayer to apply the chem? Thanks for all the great videos!!
How you doing? Joe dairy? I was wondering how will You. be applying the oxKnox on the house. Are you going to downstream it? Or using the X6. Or just super pump. just curious. Can't wait. to see the video. on that
Cleansol BC mixed 10 to 1 has worked for me. Yet it requires direct pressure to release the oxidation. Rinsing it like you did the concentrated Ox-Nox would not be effective, if using 10:1 Cleansol.
@@mikerichter1694 I’ll use Cleansol BC every time before Ox Knox. I’ve tried 4-1 even 1-1 once with Ox Knox and it wasn’t as effective as 10-1 Cleansol BC. A gallon of Cleansol BC is cheaper than a gallon of Ox Knox anyway so it’s a no brainer to me.
I would do the oxidation restore EARLY in the morning. May give you a better result from not drying? I would price high as well. It’s like giving the house a new paint job/look
Makes me wonder if the Ox Knox is safe on windows. I just need the stats like how many square feet is covered per gallon? This would be great for my customers and selling the option to our local painters as well.
So many other guys have tested it and said it doesn't work you saying it works this is confusing unfortunately.. Definitely looking forward to the video in June to see the process... If it works well for you.. I believe Cody should be sending you free chemicals from now on.... Great job
Nothing works on everything I guess is the answer. In this scenario it worked great. Can’t speak to what other guys are doing. It’ll be a great project for real test. ✌🏼
Figured you had to. Maybe get a battery one or just ol Joe Deery it with some elbow grease. You could even charge more to paint that house would cost 7-12 k. I’ve always stayed away from oxidation removal so happy your giving us a tutorial on it lol
I ordered a case of this shit & was not happy with it. let it dwell for about 5 mins then went over with the twist nozzel. Ended up scrubbbing with that echo chem stuff.
It will be interesting to see if ox Knox does anything to the glass/window frame or any metal guttering or soffits. P.S. your replies to everyone’s comments under each video are so gracious and patient. We know you can get fed up with the comments every once in a while, but I’m going to compliments you on the way you interact with each comment. Also on the fact that you put in the work each day here on RU-vid to respond to the comments. Dedication.
Unless you plan on spraying the whole house with a pump sprayer, shouldn't your test hit reflect the downstream or batch mix you would use on the rest of the house. It may not be "brushless" downstreamed.
@@powerfulimprovements i did basically the same job last summer with ox knox. Blue siding turned pink. I found that it kinda needed to be 50/50 or a slightly stronger to get no brush results. 👍🏻👍🏻came out awesome.
i know you tried a lot of different chemicals for various jobs is there any chemical or chemicals that you 100% did not like that was waste money that stuck out more than the others as useless 😁
How do you sell removing oxidization on a home at $60 a gallon? How many gallons are you going to burn through for that one home? If diluted, it would be less costly, but it works brushless at a zero delusion to be sprayed on and then washed off.
