We really don't spray our meat with anything in Texas. Especially once its on the grill. That must be something he picked up in Utah. That isn't Texas in any way. Wood smoke with maybe a lil charcoal of some kind, for heat, and thats it my boy. But I'm happy for this brothers success no doubt. I hope he and his family prosper. He on his $#!+
Grilling and smoking are two different methods. You spray every two hours when cooking low and slow. Grillers are done with the second/third batch of food before a smoker thinks about flipping or starting on side dishes.
