Ah, a grand theft auto online challenge, a very dangerous, perilous and annoying place sometimes. I hope your trips were not as stressful as many of mine normally are in that game (damn flying bikes and cars). Also the occasional plane, with missiles and high powered guns. Luke, you threw the challenge away carelessly, why did you do this. Ellen, this is prove that really, you are evil and rockstar has corrupted you, slightly.
When they started acting like the race was almost over, I thought "Over? But there are still 10 minutes left in the video." Little did I know, 10 minutes of beach murder would soon follow.
@The Gaming Meta No idea - I only saw the moment itself in a show of the week or some kind of compilation, that's why I've been trying to hunt down its origin video.
Luke: "There is the bullet wound at the base of my neck at the top of my spine where you coldly executed me." Ellen shouting with joy: "Yeeeaaaaahhhhh!"
Luke: intentionally makes the challenge more difficult for himself when he could probably have easily won Luke a few minutes later: “I hate this challenge”
"Ok, the army's after me. How's your race going?" -Luke "Oh no, some one witnessed my murder!" -Jane "Oh, I was run over by the cart. And shot." -Mike The side of racing they don't tell you about
As soon as Ellen had the map on for an extended period of time, I was just waiting for her to crash into a building or mountain. To have it happen immediately after closing the map was perfect comedic timing!
Ah the famous old tale where the hare could win the race easily but wishes to sabotage the tortoise, then the tortoise wins and enacts retribution with heavy ordnance
@@wouldanyonelikeanytoast5171 my favourite part of the story is when the tortoise shoots the hare in the face several times and fires off a bunch of explosives causing both the tortoise and the hare to become trapped in a glitchy hellscape covered in their own corpses.
We all knew exactly what was going to happen when Luke said he was going to try and intercept ellen, but I really wanted him to come across her...and then see her steal HIS car lol.
Well she is from London :P (Im not trying to be rude, most of my family are from London, it is just the first thought that popped into my mind when I read your comment haha.)
Mike: I'm worried if I go as the crow flies I'll drive my horse of a cliff Ellen: I'm in a Plane why should I worry about cliffs Also Ellen: flies into cliff
Luke: "Now I could just drive straight up this road and I'm pretty sure I would win ... but ..." Me: Oh good, I was almost disappointed at how smoothly this race was going ... :D
@@takoshihitsamaru4675 I doubt it. Pretty sure there have been years where one of them won outright and then they did the rest of the challenges for (only) fun. Luke just got in his own head.
@@MSte21 Have you been watching these? It's so painfully obvious XD In this one, Luke gets a plane early, then decides to play chicken with the ground, fly over Zancudo (low), land there and then attempt to steal a jet. He then proceeds to admit he's going to throw his victory for a shot at killing Ellen (knowing this would not only never work, but also just as Ellen states she was "near an airfield", "looking for a helicopter"). Luke then drives like a moron, flies off the road at the creek/river area and continues to drive badly 'until' Ellen has a sure shot at victory. Anyone with half a brain would just - get vehicle 1 - drive to airport - get plane (vehicle 2) - fly to the end of the map - get in and out of 2 more cars (vehicle 3 and 4) - get in vehicle 5 and drive to the beach finish line.
My favorite thing about this video is that this is just a 30 minute condensed version of "Lord of The Flies." Ellen and Luke started with these purposeful, well-thought-out plans, and then just devolving into pure chaotic energy as they litter the beach with corpses.
As someone who used the free arcade in GTA Online for a fair bit, I enjoy watching other people go through the arduous process of travelling up t'North.
My favourite in these challenges changes from day to day. Yesterday I was fully team Luke, but today I'm entirely supporting Ellen. You're both just too amazing to champion one over the other.
Ellen played that in true GTA Online fashion: started with violence, ended with violence. But Luke pulled my move of getting stuck in the middle of nowhere. This gave me some much needed holiday cheer!!
these two are so well synced, ive been binge watching and they are soo in tune with each other in last few vids ive seen and they got to be the best of friends i mean really this is soo cool lol
I love how both teams followed up their Christmas races with repeatedly murdering each other. That's the true holiday spirit :') Luke's corspe's ragdoll physics are beautiful
Santa James seems like the type of guy that would leave an empty bottle of eggnog in your refrigerator after he’s dropped off presents at the wrong house and drunkenly knocked off the top of your chimney with Rudolph
Luke wedging his car in near the airport had me in absolute shambles 🤣🤣🤣 And the showdown on the bach with glitchy physics and corpse rankings was just the crowning glory! 😂👏🏼
Luke: Do the viewers want me to win Christmas easily or try and run Ellen off the road? Luke's decision shows how in touch he is with the OX community lol
A well-chosen destination, given the way the challenge ended. Ellen adding so many Luke corpses to the bodies already by those islands. I love how Prudence's training has rubbed off on Ellen, chuckling over the many dead corpses of her friend.
I love how they first wondered that the race episode might take very long. And then they just added 10 Minutes of horseplay to the end of it, when it was unexpectedly fast. That's just awesome customer service.
