It is a dangerous product promoted with lies. It will cause you harm. I believe that to be truth. Its your choice but i hope you do not have to be sorry over it.

I had to go back on metformin after two weeks of ozempic. My sugar rose from 126 to 196 after 2 weeks. I just raised the dose to .5ml today my 3rd week since I tolerated it fine & stopped metformin again. I will see in the next few days if it starts working with a higher dose. I don't like metformin it's hard on my kidneys.

If you want a paralized stomach is how it works. This product is deadly its nothing to me i am not on it but try to be wise to Big Pharma that lies most the time. Look at some of the stars who went on it and their face is sunk in forever. It is a deadly product and there has been some claimed it has ruin their life. Some people vomite all the time after they went off of it. Stop believing the lies. The old saying is if it sounds to good to be true it problaly is not true.

I lost 60 pounds in the last couple month's by cutting all regular starches and anything with sugar plus walking a few times a day 10 to 20 minutes. I started on 26 units of basal insulin every 24 hours (Tresiba), and occasional bolus (TruRapi) depending on the meals. I have been doing strict keto and occasional intermittent fasting, which has reduced my need for bolus insulin. Then…about 2.5 weeks ago, my endocrinologist put me on Ozempic!❤️ I was nervous at first, but it was explained that the .25 dose of Ozempic is low enough that, with close monitoring, people on insulin will be able to adapt at a gradual pace. I will suggest to you that you get a CGM (continuous glucose monitor). I have a Freestyle Libre, which, for me, has been a game changer! It allows me to watch my blood glucose level throughout the day and night, and since I’ve started Ozempic, I have been able to reduce my basal insulin dose, gradually, from 26 units per night, to 18 units per night! I have faith that, with close monitoring, strict dietary management, and, now, Ozempic, I may be able to wean off insulin (and lose weight!) eventually. My numbers are getting better and better. Best of luck to you!

Ozempic wrecked my stomach the first two weeks I was on it but now it's helping quite a bit with curbing my appetite. I've been diagnosed with lymphocytic colitis and celiac disease and it seems to have helped with those symptoms as well. (I assume due to slowing digestion)

I started Ozempic at the .25 dose as recommended by my endocrinologist, while on 26 units of basal insulin each night. I wasn’t expecting to see any impact on my blood sugar until my Ozempic dose bumped up to .5, but much to my surprise, my blood glucose values began going down this past week (while still only taking the .25 dose of Ozempic)! As of tonight, I have lowered my basal insulin dose to 18 units to avoid lows! I am overwhelmed with gratitude for access to Ozempic, as, along with intensive dietary management, may allow me to wean off insulin entirely, at this rate! Wishing you the best of luck!

Dr. Richardson, how do you feel about diabetics getting run over by rich people, who want to lose weight and can pay full price for these drugs, that are making them not available for diabetics that the drugs were developed for, and that the drugs are a crucial part of our therapy who can no longer get them because of shortages? I would love to see at least one or two of the many RU-vid doctors who are talking about these drugs, and spinning up the demand for them, talk a bit about all the off label prescribing that is making diabetics have to chase these drugs from pharmacy to pharmacy, and frequently change dosages or completely change drugs or go completely without any because people are getting these drugs that should not. There is only one of these meds that is approved for weight loss.

My fasting glucose is my main concern. Levels spike in the morning. I’ve tried various diabetic medications and my levels are not coming down. I’ve tried all sorts of eating plans low, carb, high carb ,no carb , low fat ,high fat ,no fat ,plant base, carnivore, protein shakes, smoothie detoxes. I’ve been walking almost daily. It muscle nd flat feet hurts . Now been swimming nd doing a bit of aqua exercises. Nothing brought diabetes down to normal as yet. I cannot use the glucophage medications due to permanent diarrhea/ IBS. I have been diagnosed with fatty liver, diabetes, fibromyalgia and I’ve gained 40kgs since these diagnosis. Doctor said to try ozempic and medical has approved it but there’s a shortage of the meds so difficult to obtain it. Not giving up on eating healthy nd exercising but it’s frustrating not seeing the sugar levels and scale moving down. It’s easy to say make a lifestyle change but for me I’m still trying to find the right lifestyle to change to…

Basal insulin one shot per day dropped my fasting blood sugar from 180 to 95. Does Ozempic do the same? If you are underweight like I am at 150lbs and over 6 feet tall you do not need a drug that curbs appetite and makes food actually repulsive. Consider Basal Insulin because is might rest the beta cells and give them a better chance of producing insulin during meals. I think Doctors are putting too much emphasis on oral medications when many just need insulin shots.
