I was diagnosed pre-diabetic 10 years ago. My doctor didn’t seem to realize the importance of this bio marker. He retired and my new PCP did. We had a stern discussion. I have lost 25 pounds and my Ha1c is back in the normal range. In my experience, get rid of processed foods and try to eat more healthy foods like fruits and vegetables.
