Fun fact: Sharon left Ozzy and Lita alone in Lita's hotel room one night, and they decided to get drunk and write this song in one night. They don't recall anything else that night but writing the song. It's one of those mysterious, one-time inspirational things that nobody can explain or recreate. I guess this is how the best songs are created.

Lita and Ozzy were on an all night drinking binge when they wrote this song. I'm not sure if either of them expected the positive response it got. Ozzy has a haunting voice anyway but the two together put so many 'feels' into this song, it grabs your heart strings.

Like so many guys growing up in the 80s, Lita Ford was my first rock 'n' roll crush :-) I was lucky enough to catch her in concert just a few years ago, opening for Halestorm, and I have to say - she absolutely kicked ass! She shared some great anecdotes from her time in the industry, and just killed it on stage. So glad I went to that show.

Classic masterpiece. Another great duo like this is Doro (of warlock then her solo) and UDO (of accept and his solo) called: dancing with an angel. Another, "if you like this song, then you'll also enjoy" lol is: Doro and Lemmy Kilmister - Alone again. Doro and Lemmy -Love Me Forever is cool too.

Lita Ford was a member of the band called The Runaways. One of the other members of that band was Joan Jett. They actually made a movie about this band called The Runaways. Their famous song was Cherry Bomb which was used in I think it was the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

I was lucky enough to see Lita on that tour. Yes, she DOES play that solo and make it sound just like the album. She also does a fantastic cover of Alice Cooper's "Only Women Bleed" which reportedly made Alice Cooper walk up to her and tell her, "that's your song now, not mine."

Lita Ford is hard rock, was part of The Runaways with Joan Jett. Runaways were a band of teenage girls who played rock music who gained popularity in Japan. Both Lita and Joan gained popularity in the States in the 80s.

OK, a bunch of comments below correctly identify Lita as guitarist for The Runaways with Joan Jett. But as far as I can tell, nobody has correctly identified the incomparable Anneke van Giersbergen as the vocalist for The Gathering (Y'all did a Nighttime Birds reaction a few months back - THAT was Anneke). This is a great simple song. Lita has always been a fave of mine. Very underrated at her guitar playing. #crimsonglory#paintedskies and #crimsonglory#burningbridges they are both off the same album, kind of go hand in hand. Peace!

Listen to this on vinyl... you can only get true studio sound off vinyl. No audio data is lost when pressing a record. Digital compresses, where as vinyl does not.

Everything on this song and pretty much all songs from the 80's are drenched in digital effects and recorded with solid state equipment so it doesn't really factor in as much. Now if we are talking blues or something, yeah, analog and vinyl is the way to go

Lita Ford was okay but my favorite female vocalist is Pat Benatar. Hell is for children is a great example of her vocal strength.

Lita was in the Runaways. Same band that Joan Jett came from. They had a hit called "Cherry Bomb". Since this was a band of teenage girls, I'll leave the meaning of the song up to your own interpretation.

Hi my name is Chris rebels. I know a few facts Lita ,ozzy and a few other people were hanging out. They just made that song that night. It has meaning for me . Long stury short. I got divorced,lost job. I was depressed the only thing keep me going was my daughter. So I would play song. Thinking if this happened would anyone care. But I'm better now

This wasn't Ozzy's song, it was Lita's and was on her self titled album Lita. They were in the same studio once day and got really drunk and they wrote the lyrics to this song that night.

I know everyone wants to know if "Kel has heard this?" My question, Has Rich heard this? Gary Moore, The End of the World, off Corridors of Power. Jack Bruce from Cream on lead vocals. A bit obscure, yes. Any song of Corridors of Power is a must. Probably won't be considered but I thought I should throw it out there. FYI: Some of/if not the best guitar work out there.

Lololol so do we! I know... it even shocks me. Most of this music just want a part of my past. It really is strange to have lived all that time and yet feel that I did not really lived at all. When I think of my past it seems like a very odd world that I just never really seemed to fit in. It was all wrong and it took almost 40 years for me to figure out how to change all that. But it is over now and I get to have the life I have always dreamed of with Rich and with all of you. Whoot whoot!!!
