Jake E. Lee's opening riff for "Bark At The Moon" is probably one of the most iconic openings for a metal tune ever played. Instantly recognizable.

R.I.P. Randy Castillo. He brought so much to this album with his masterful hands and feet. A true beast of a drummer.

The guitar playing on this record is absolutely insane. Jake was a total monster player.

Damn that riff is so killer. For as much as Ozzy seems crazy and out of it, his instincts were spot on when choosing guitar players.

Not to take anything away from Zakk Wylde or Randy Rhoads but Jake E. Lee was the frigging best!! At the VERY LEAST, he was the bridge between Randy & Zakk. One could say that Zakk adapted to the sound and made it his own, (which he certainly did), but without Jake E. Lee - could Zakk have done what he did? Praise to Jake E. Lee!

Ozzy is great, but he didn't give Jake E Lee enough credit for his contributions on Ultimate Sin and Bark at the moon albums.

I love batm & tus albums as I grew up with them as my first ones. Jake is so insane here which if you think about is crazy cuz Ozzy had the brakes put on him since the beginning, imagine if Ozzy hadn't slowed him down & let him loose from the beginning.

Jake was good....but i think his stage movements set him at the top of ozzy's axe slingers...just so heavy metal and super cool.

Every Ozzy guitarist is in a league of their own, but I think most Ozzy fans agree that Jake was the best.

I have to say I'm very impressed by Ozzy's Osbourne's seemingly perfect pitch. They didn't have pitch correction software in those days, so everything you hear is just pure talent. Why do people say that Ozzy is not a good singer? Are they deaf??

Yes Jake is totally underated! Speaking as someone that used to play guitar in clubs, and bars back in the 80's . I used to do covers and playing Jake, Eddy, Rhandy, George, Vai, Hammet, Mustane, etc was always awesome to me. These dudes were fucking awesome!

He did a very good job on the two albums he did with Ozzy in spite of what people might think or are saying.... then he came out with his own band Badlands and was even better now he's with the band Red dragon cartel ..
