You brought back some memories! I did the same tour in 2011 when I was on the much missed Oceania (probably still my favourite ship ☹️). Enjoyed the video very much, as always!
looks lovely! A friend of mine who has been to Antigua several times on cruises, he maintains every time he goes, it just rains and rain, irrelevant of the time of year too. 😂Fantastic footage as usual!
Enjoyed watching this and the memories it brought back, for 2 reasons - we went to Antigua in Nov'19, staying very near to English Harbour, and we returned 4 weeks ago from 2 weeks on Azura, having done the first Med Fly/Cruise out of Malta after she arrived from the Carribean on 31st March. Both great holidays! (the cruise was our 6th on P&O)
Amazing video! Beautiful scenery, makes me just wanna be back there. We did the same cruise/itinerary 2 weeks prior to you on Azura and loved every minute of it. It's a shame that it's Azura's last caribbean season, as she's a lovely ship. Thanks for sharing such happy memories.
Hi Kirstie & Andy. Thanks for another nostalgic trip. The food looked delicious - but hot pudding and cold custard??? 😳😳. We went to Ocean Point Beach Retreat on our Antigua day in March and loved it. We had a nice meal overlooking the beach and one or two rum punches!! There had been a storm the night before which had washed seaweed onto the beach and wading out into the sea involved squelching through about 6 inches of spongy kelp like stuff - who knows what might have been lurking underneath!! 😵💫😵💫. That’s where Crocs come in handy!! Still had a great day on a beautiful island. Thanks again and looking forward to seeing your next vlog in St Lucia. xx
Love your videos, we were on Britannia in dec in Caribbean our first cruise. It was amazing. Going on azura in dec to canaries the next April to Greece and Turkey from Malta. Keep sending your videos 👌👌👌
We did the same trip on brittania in March. Couldn't remember the name of the beach. Agree it was beautiful. Our first time in Antigua would like to return at some point. Thanks for the vlog always enjoy you're travels
We visited Antigua last November, (we boarded on your birthday if you recall) Now in our house we say “we’ll always have Antigua” because it was such a special day. We tend not to return to places once we have visited, but we have promised we *will* return to Antigua.
It's great to have those memories. We didn't intend returning to the Caribbean just yet, but decided it was an easy 'proper' foreign trip after not doing anything for a couple of years. When we booked, we said 'wonder if we can do a lobster lunch in Nelson's dockyard?' Antigua holds special memories for us too.
Love your videos going on our first cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary in February 23 a Caribbean cruise just wondering do you do the drinks package or do you think it’s better to just pay each day any tips would be grateful 😊
It really depends on you and how much you both drink. For us it's generally too expensive to be good value. The only package we have done is on Princess with their 'Princess Plus' package, which includes drinks, gratuities and WiFi.
Very good vlog Andy and Kirstie!! which is your favourite ship!! Mine is aurora!! classic!!I look at Azura in the restaurants it very somewhere to P&O ferries at Hull in the ala carte restaurant!!I no controversial subject P&O ferries!!it I was P&O ferries!!I would give P&O ferries at Hull I would give them there Old name back! North Sea ferries!!save face!! and include and meals in the price!! back to the good old days!!
Aurora is a lovely little ship, our first cruise was on her but I have been on nicer ships since. That said, Aurora will always be special to my husband and I. P & O ferries don’t need to _save face_ what they did to their staff was disgraceful, they deserve to go bust. Now P & O cruises are *nothing* to do with P&O ferries, but maybe you already knew that.
