We went to Grenada pre COVID on Discovery and went to the same tourist point by the lake. There was a group playing the steel drums, it was quite nice to wander around and we had a cold drink from the shop before going on to a nutmeg factory. It was quite interesting seeing the processing of the humble nutmeg - health and safety would have a fit in this country! My lasting memory is returning to town down a steep hill, I reckon it was 1/2 it was so steep. A lovely island, we saw Louis Hamilton’s grandma’s bungalow and the children going to school. They walked about a mile to school but all looked immaculate
Loved this! I was in Grenada a few yrs ago but didn’t see this! We hired a taxi and he drove us around the island, enjoyed but I would of enjoyed the chocolate and rum!!! Thanks!
Great video again guys. I have never visited Grenada, even though the captain of Azura did try several times, as the wind was really strong, so we ended up having another sea day.
Great vlog, rum tasting now your talking. Have you finished your bottle you brought, how was it ? What cruises have you got lined up for in the future?
It’s so nice to see so many people dress for formal night. It seems to be going out of style on most of the ships in the states. It’s still listed on the daily planner but people just don’t want to comply for the most part. Very sad.
Some people love dressing up, but a lot don't. We're on Marella Explorer at the moment and had a 'formal' night last night and the were almost no dinner jackets.
It was when this video was filmed. The cruise we're on now there's no mask wearing on board and it's then dependent on the country whether or not it's worn ashore.
