P&O Iona Cruise Vlog 4....Sea Day ,Valentine's Day, Celebration night

A day at sea heading to Rotterdam after leaving the port of Hamburg.
After Breakfast we had a stroll around the promenade deck to take in the sun.
it was then time to head to the shops to do a bit of tax free shopping
After lunch we headed for the aft of the ship to use one of the many Hot tubs.
Before getting ready for Celebration Night we had a few glasses of bubbly in the conservatory.
After our dinner we had a great night at the theatre , all in all it was an enjoyable day.

We did enjoy this Valentine’s Day . We thought we would brave the hot tubs , it was great but absolutely freezing getting out . Glad you are enjoying these videos, should have a new one on August 27th . Take care of yourself. Xx

Hello guys I must be nearly at the end of all the vlogs ive been watching to catch up soon 😢. We have loved every minute ❤️ taking alot of notice of iona for our upcoming cruise . I hope the system for tables doesnt work when we are on it , seems a pain 😂. Arr lovely to see someone getting married on the ship ,brings back memories of our wedding onboard sea princess. ❤. Everytime we see the rose in this vlog i was waiting for you to put it in water 💧 it got very droopy by the end of the night 😅😅. Hi Amanda, you certainly are a trooper to get through that lot . Glad they have been of use for your upcoming cruise. Dinner reservations are ok really, you can just turn up and if no tables they will give you a pager . Have seen a few weddings now on cruise ships , glad it brought back great memories. Yes it did get a bit droopy 😂 it’s carry on cruising 😂. She was a proper little Princess and i was like her servant with her champagne 🥂. hello again, went back in for a fix of 'P&B', and found I had more of this trip to watch, bonus! I think Pearl must be about my height due to the swinging of her feet on the chair and them not really touching the ground.🤣🤣

Did you try the The Chef’s Table? We are going on the same cruise in November and a bit confused about which restaurant to go to for celebration/gala nights. Really enjoyed your entertaining vlogs and found them informative too. Thank you.

Hi , no we didn’t try the Chefs Table I’m sorry to say . In our opinion the best restaurant on board was the Epicurean . Ideal for a special occasion and a bit more of an experience. Thank you for your kind comments and we are really pleased that the videos have helped in a small way . Really hope that you enjoy the cruise and have a fantastic time . 👋

How did you manage to get the spirits back to your room? I thought if you bought on board they kept them until disembarking? Unless I’m wrong……. Nice steady hand Brian 😂

We took a litre each on with us , then when we bought the 4 bottles they just put them in a bag and let us take them to our room . Sorry about shaky cam I was sober 😂

Hi , Sindhu was great , it’s an Indian restaurant. Also the Olive Grove was quite nice . I have heard a lot of good things about the Epicurean which we have booked for next week. You can normally book these a couple of weeks before your cruise. Congratulations on your upcoming honeymoon. Thanks for watching and commenting.

After our recent trip on Iona the restaurant for a special occasion is definitely the Epicurean. It is an extra charge restaurant and you can normally book two weeks before the cruise starts . Very attentive staff and nice restaurant.
