I sure appreciate the video! The whole bundle was was sitting on the output shaft with the shrouding ripped away and one wire snapped. Your saved me a bunch of grief.
My brother I just want to thank you for making this video... I was $260 in before I seen your video. MAF sensor, cam sensor,. I swear this is the most expensive roll of ELECTROMAGNETIC TAPE I ever bought.. same green wire . On my escalade.. same spot..
Man your video helped me so much. I ended up finding a broken wire and another hanging by threads. Hopefully it fixed the problem. But either way, id have never thought to check had I not watched your video
@@HayesMobileAutoRepair I literally just replaced the fuel pump, tps and bout an expensive ass maxisys scanner... just to smile across your video and guess what? ... exact same issue except on an 09 chevy suburban lt ...of course 4x4. Bro to the "T" ... I was actually watching your video at around 6 pm and I jumped out if bead just to see..... once I had it on the lift and checked exactly where you indicated .... Abrakadabra like magic! ! There it was rubbing wires lol ... again señor Mil Gracias Hermano!
Hi, my 2008 Yukon Denali stopped the other day and when I looked underneath right by the driveshaft…all of those wires had been ripped away…to the point that I don’t know where the wires run to. Do you know the name of that harness? Four of the wires go to an 02 sensor I don’t know where the other 4-6 wires go. It’s the same wires that are above the front driveshaft…..P0036, p0056, p0230, p0449, P0452, P0463, p0523, p069e, p2119 are the codes that are coming up.
Great video! I have a 2008 Silverado 5.3L, truck starts and runs but I have P069E Pending and P069E Current codes. Also, on Freeze Frame I get P0231. Check engine light comes on and off. According to my pressure gauge, fuel pump pressure is good. Do you have an idea what could be the problem?
So, mine threw this code a couple times… I’m noticing every once in a while the truck maybe surges? Like it isn’t sometimes as responsive. Would this be module or pump? Also, it’s only when I’m towing and very loaded and squatting.
Thanks for this video. I have a 08 Yukon with the same intermediate fuel psi issue. Was this wiring harness over the axle or transfer case side on the front drive shaft? Im suspecting mine is the same problem
I have this EXACT same issue. The wires were caught and they got popped. I spliced as best as I could but I am still experiencing issues. I have 2 questions. Where does that harness lead to? I am asking because if possible I would like to buy another harness and maybe try to run it New. Please let me know.
I have the exact same issues except mine destroyed multiple wires while i was driving i put the wires back together by twisting them and tapped now im getting excessive starting issues changed the starter and still no run . Any advice?
What’s going on! Did you figure out the problem. I’m having the same issue the driveshaft rip multiple wires. I twisted the wires and use electric tape but the vehicle won’t start on the first turn. I have to turn the ignition three times before the vehicle starts.
Hi, i own a Chevy Malibu 2.4 Litre I have code P069e sometimes. It comes only when i ride for along time in a hot weather and the Air condition is opened. Otherwise i have no code and no issue, As soon as MIL lights up, the car starts to stop with no response to fuel acceleration, the time i see this problem, i turn the Air Conditioning off then the car runs well, and if i left the car closed for hours the MIL Will disappear, and the problem come again if ride in hot weather opening the air conditioning system. I hope you guide me what to do??
i would have to get a schematic to see how they are connected .. maybe the ac and the fuel pump control module share the same ground... idk so just to be clear,, this only happens when u turn on the AC?
@@HayesMobileAutoRepair yes, it comes only when i ride for a while opening the air conditioning system, i replaced the FPCM and it runs well now Thanks for your response, I took it for a long ride 1000 km with an opened AC and it’s good Alhamdulilah, If i has this issue again , what are the problem diagnosis? Thanks a lot.
The problem came back again, if i close the AC the feul pedal starts to response and the car go with normal acceleration, if i don’t close it it has no response. And the car feel likes it’s on N not D. I hope you could help me.
I currently have the PO69E on a 2013 Silverado 1500 5.3 4x4. I already installed new oem fuel pump control module that a shop programmed. After install and cleared codes, same symptoms and PO69E code. The only other code I got was an O2 sensor code. PO15B maybe? It runs but starts rough. I’ve jumped the fuel pump from the fscm harness and the fuel pump runs. I’ve inspected the wires as best I can but mine are all taped up and then inside of wire conduit and then taped again. Doesn’t appear to be any excess wear on the conduit at any friction point. I’ve tested the harness pins and they appear to be ok. At a loss over here as to where else to look. Got any advice?
