Personally, I think it’s unlikely. Either way the exhaust leaks gotta be fixed. That’s more important than a secondary air injection problem. But I think you’ll find some thing else going on as well.

When you start the car in the morning does the exhaust leak sound go away after 10 to 15 seconds?
