@@SethJV Personally completely disagree. I prefer pretty much all the Eng voices to what I’ve heard of the JP sub, and I prefer Akechi by a country mile, not that the JP dub was bad, but Robbie Daymond’s Akechi is iconic
Tbh Persona really tries when making their dubs, the only person I can think of with a terrible dub voice is Fuuka (I think that's her name) but her voice got way better in P4
Something Trivial about Japanese Voice of Akechi that he had Dubbed adolescent Ben Tennyson since Ben 10 Alien Force. Additionally, Yuri Lowenthal, the original voice of adolescent Ben Tennyson is returns as Makoto Yuki or Door-Kun or SEES Boy in this game as a DLC challenge.
I like how the VA does the screams different times in the boss versions. Robbie has his repeated which is great as it is. Both are incredible as Akechi
Akechi sounds great here, but I'm still a little upset that they had Light Yagami's voice actor on the cast and they chose for him to play Ryuji instead of Akechi. You can't tell me that Light and Lelouch, the two masterminds of anime, teaming up like this after all their scheming against each other wouldn't be amazing.
I think it's that the jpn is a bit more smooth and less raspy in comparison to robbie who's a bit more scratchy and raspy which compliments the psycho side really, despite both of them reaching into their guttural unhinged roars of violence.
professional clown I agree! Voice acting feels more pure when you put some soul into it you can tell he really enjoyed voicing akechi especially in the 3rd semester content
