Good video I do the same thing with air roots on my plants but I didn't know I was training them it's just something I thought my plants were looking for was the nearest water source 😅😄
I’m literally misting my moss poles and thought, “Let me see what I can find on RU-vid to listen to while I do this….” And 💥 BAM!…..this popped up. 😃 Thanks for the helpful information! I live in an extremely humid area (85-100% this time of year), I wonder if I even need to wet my poles? Would the humidity do the job on its own? They seem dry every now and then but maybe they’re just fine?
Without constantly keeping the moss poles wet and training them, they won’t cling to this level. Overall higher humidity will just encourage wild aerial root development, which is also great.
@@LegendsOfMonstera thanks for the info! I’ll stay on top of keeping them wet. Yes, the aerial roots on my plants are crazy. I’ve always done what she does…..trained them to go down into the soil. It makes a huge difference in the size of leaves and also makes for very easy propagation/clipping.
Love this! I and my friend were jist debating over this coz she thinks that once a pole is placed, plants would just cling to it - which almost never happens - unless that pole is a source of moisture for the plants. Now I need to learn how to do that self-watering pole 😅 grazie from Rome!
