Well done PA. Also some independents did ok or got some votes kudo's. I want to know if people know their particular party's manefesto's or in plain language -what their parties stand for or do they just vote for the vibrant colour scheme on the ballot paper. The ANC and the DA very similar policies or content or what ever you want to call it. But I should be fair and mention that the ANC have two sides. The one side can work with the DA depending on who is sitting at executive level and on the other side of the ANC - they are more to the left and can work with a party such as the EFF - Infact Malema says he is willing to work with the ANC - but of course there will have to be compromises such as the (farm) land issue. The ANC can work with MK too all they have to do is bring back the cadres that they disposed off or who left on account of the Zuma business. In fact MK is perfectly willing to work with a ANC not lead by Ramaphosa and his team. A 40% outcome could also be a very negative outcome for us as South Africans based on who the ANC will go to bed with to secure a majority. I doubt a with a marraige proposal to the DA, but it looks like either a EFF or MK coalation any get the rose. In any event both Zuma and Malema was once ANC and you all know why they left the ANC...... Please pardon my mistakes grammar and the likes I dont have my glasses on.

In the past the EFF got two or three votes in Orania. Most likely these were cast by the SAPS officers. Mackenzie was there not too long ago and he probably made an impression.
