This is one of my favorite airbrushes, the best for detail. The small cup holds the exact amount of paint I need for detailing. Since I use it very close to the painting surface, the small cup is also important because my view is not blocked. It's also a short airbrush, which means my hands get quite close to the work, pretty similar to drawing with a pencil. Compare that to the Talon, for example: it's a great airbrush too, but it has a big cup, and it's longer, keeping the hand distant to the painting surface. It's also a breeze to clean: the paint runs a very short distance inside the body, so it's almost just a matter of cleaning the tip.
By the way everyone , paasche stopped manufacturing the vjr. I tried to buy on from Chicago airbrush and even paasche and it is no longer listed on the websites. If it's not on paasche said own website then that means it's discontinued. To bad
Got mine off of ebay. mine even has the line adjustment assembly. Very handy. I took mine completely apart and cleaned, and replaced all the o-rings. Painted many models with it. So easy to clean too.
Vjr That is a bad product, no longer brings line adjustment and does not provide the same service, Paasche removing that piece is wrong, they respond that two years ago not produce very bad for the trajectory Paasche Airbrush.
