I've played this on another platform and was surprised to see this on Game Boy Roulette. Seems like a difficult game to bring to the weak hardware, but it looks like the momentum based movement and grapple physics were brought over intact and with a nice, high frame rate - very impressive! I am a big fan of trying to figure out ways to take advantage of Pac Man's "He's a ball" attribute, and hanging from a grapple totally works (he's basically a wrecking ball). I also like seeing him chomp through chunks of the environment here - why does ne never do that in the Pac Man World games? This does some interesting things, and while it's sometimes frustrating thanks to the momentum feel, but it's a HUGE leap in quality over Pac Man 2 The New Adventures or Pac Land; I wish some of these ideas & abilities were revisited in newer Pac Platformers, tbh.
Nice I should give this one a go! However I unfortunately cannot recommend the snes version. It starts out okay and seems like it’ll be a fun time but then the levels just begin to drag out for far too long for me to get any real enjoyment out of it.
