@@malimaui2802 Pac-Man World 2 is the Game that's need to be remastered, Pac-Man World 3 HD should be the last one, all you gotta do is port the Game to PS5 Xbox Series S and X, Switch and Steam and call it a day don't need to remaster Pac-Man World 3 from the groundup
Some people believe that Pac-Man shouldn't have any type of voice. But honestly, this captures his emotions perfectly. Being sarcastically and cheesily funny isn't so bad for Pac-Man. But at times, he is serious, and his expression and voice displays that.
I personally don't think he should have a voice either mostly as Pacman doesn't fit a talking protagonist role and I'd prefer if at most it's text boxes. It's like in Mario Sunshine when the characters have active dualog but they really shouldn't. But even still this is great stuff.
Ugh, RU-vid’s mobile site is so broken: Anyways, I think Pac-Man SHOULD have a voice but the best approach is to limit him to grunts and screams ala Mario or Crash. Bring Martin back, but he doesn’t nessisarily have to have full dialogue. I just think the character should sound like an adult who still has a lot of energy like a child.
I LOVE Pac-Man's voice and attitude in this game. He seems like a typical happy-go-lucky videogame hero but he's low-key roasting everyone he talks to! XD I wish we got more games with this Pac-Man.
While, I'm not a fan of the actual gameplay, the overall dialogue & writing is gold. This is easily my favorite Pac-Man personality-wise. He low-key roasting, loveably sarcastic, gladly keeps a dumb smile, & a bit sadistic.
Well im fan of it more refreshing and it not trying to do the same thing over and over again just please peoples Nostalgia instead of taking risk which i hate that in some games i know people like just want the same gameplay before but it'll end up getting old fast and at least give credit where credit is due but i aside from my rant and defense pac man 3 gameplay and the game itself because im not that critical on games that much but i do agree with on the humor, voicing and writing being good tho 😗
@@raphaelbrown6314 What about Ghostly Adventures Pac-man, what are your thoughts on that take of Pac-man, I played the Games but I haven't seen the show
@@setsers1 How? This "Pac-Man" is a dick to everyone. He makes bad sex jokes, like the "Sector should be only be with me and Ms. Pac." The real Pac-Man is a friendly guy who loves helping out people, but sometimes, he can be distracted at times.
@@EpikBirb Really? This version of Pac-Man doesn't come off as a straight up jerk to me. Yeah, he makes a lot of sarcastic comments, but its the playful kind of sarcastic, and he still cares about saving his world and even the world his enemies come from. He's still the same Pac-Man we know from the previous games, but with a bit more personality. Also, you gotta keep in mind that Orson literally kidnapped his family and tried to kill him several times in the first Pac-Man World game, so its only natural that Pac-Man would be a little salty with him at first (Also, he only makes one sex joke, That being the one you mentioned). EDIT: Although, that ending was a little unwarranted.

This game has some of the best cutscenes I've ever scene. The interactions between Pacman and orson are great. It's too bad I never played this game back in the day. I did play the shit out of Pacman World 2 when I was a kid. That game is very nostalgic for me.
Same, and that game was TOUGH. I spent years busting my butt on that thing, and when the day finally came that i beat it i was OVERJOYED XD i don't play it anymore really, but i refuse to sell it. It's priceless
Pac-Man: "He's an idiot." Spectral Fiend: "You're entitled to form your own subjective opinion of my intellectual faculties, Pac-Man." I love the characters in this game.
Carpainter a lot of the jokes went past my head when I played this back on 06, rewatching it now and understanding the jokes gives this game a awesome charm to it
Here's the cast: Martin T. Sherman plays Pac-Man, who's the main character. He also plays Blinky, who is an orange ghost. Erik Meyers plays Erwin, who's the game's main villain. Erwin is also a megalomaniac who doesn't like chocolates and kittens. Stuart Milligan plays Orson, a green ghost who helps Pac-Man along the way. Stuart also plays Inky, who's a blue ghost. Mindy Lee Raskin plays Pinky, a pink ghost who solidifies Spectral platforms. John Guerrasio plays a few characters: Clyde, a red ghost who calls Pac-Man "Munchy". The Spectral Fiend who's in the Spectral Realm. The Construction Worker who works in Gogekka. The Archaeologist who studies the Ancient Catacombs underneath the Cragstone Mountains. Regina Reagan plays Ms. Pac-Man, who's Pac-Man's wife. Garrick Hagon plays a hero who escaped Erwin's fortress.
Anyone else love the personality that this game gave to the Red ghost? His name error is pretty unfortunate though. To quote him in Pacman World 2... "I've always liked my Pac-Man... extra crispy!"
*Absolutely love this game, such a key part of my childhood. It's just a shame that the Clyde and Blinky Error was present here, as it was in Pacman World 2. It's corrected in Pacman Rally which makes it even more awkward. But oh well. And the dialogue... something about it is just so good. This is my all time favourite game growing up, along with Scooby Doo: Night of 100 Frights.*
Pac-Man World 3 is one of my favorite Pac-Man games because he has a mature voice, and good story. It's one of my favorite Pac-Man games, along with Championship Edition 2, World Rally, the original 1980, and finally, the original 1982 Ms. Pac-Man game.
A very mature story for Pac-Man. I personally really loved it, although I’d argue it’s way different than PMW1 and PMW2, maybe naming it PMW3 was incorrect...? By the way, I’m noticing some adult humor in now that I didn’t catch as a kid. LMAO. I still have the game, maybe I should play it again.
That was technically the idea, actually, this game is entirely built off the assets of an entirely different Pac-Man game they were working on that got canceled by Namco and then, since they had the assets, and had to do SOMETHING with them, contract Blitz Games and boom, new World game. The PC version of the game even still references this original game via it’s executable which has the abbreviation of PMA, to which the original game was Pac-Man Adventures.
The attitude kinda makes sense when you think about it. Pac-Man in this game is basically like Bugs Bunny- he’s been through this before, he knows he’ll get out of it, might as well have some fun on the way.
@@gentlemanmaniac9992 Than let's bring in an underrated legend and have Thomas Middleditch as Pac-Man. He is close friends with Ben Schwartz, and they have similar senses of humor.
The one thing I don't like about most Pac-Man games: the Blinky and Clyde name error. Namco are such idiots sometimes. Clyde is orange and Blinky is red. Blinky is the leader of the Ghost Gang, not Clyde. Stupid identity crisis.
The personalities from the cartoon are also wrong. Blinky is supposed to be the determined, leader While Clyde is supposed to be laid-back and stupid. Like that's how it's usually supposed to be
Du521991 then again, credit where credit’s due, that show STILL has the best incarnation of Ms.Pac-Man’s character to date, well in the first season at least.
54:04 Pac-Man: YOU'RE A LOONY! And I'm Not Goona Let You Get Away With It. 54:10 Orson: Oh, I've Been Looking Forward To This Bit. GET HIIIIMM!! My 2 Favorite Lines From The Game. XD
man if only ghostly adventures had this vibe as well as the same style of writing. while i don't hate it as much as most fans do after looking back at the older games i totally get it, we really got robbed in every sense of the word. i miss poor orson
